Not sure if this has been posted, but I just purchased the 2002 Orlando Entertainment Book for $5.00 plus shipping. This is an incredible deal, and all you need to do is go to their website at www.entertainment.com. A little box will pop up and tells you about it, and then there is a bar in the upper right corner, that you click on, purchase the book you want, and the discount is automatically applied :Pinkbounc :bounce:
This is awesome, and I wanted to share this with everyone, so we can all take advantage while supplies last. This ends May 8TH!!!:jester:

Thanks for the tip but I'm having trouble. My total is coming out to be $25. That's $10 off the listed price according to the pop up ad. How did you get $35 off? Thanks for any help!

Did it say how long it would take to arrive? We are leaving in 12 days and I'd like to order.

I put in my address, and the hotel discounts are available anywhere. It did not give me a timeframe in which to expect the book, however, you have 3 different choices in shipping. You can get 2-3 days, plus overnight delivery, but both are a little more expensive. I believe it said I could expect my book within 7-10 days, but don't quote me on that!

I put in my address, and ordered the Orlando book. The Orlando book will only have information for the Orlando area, other than the hotel discounts. As long as you choose the Orlando book, you will get discounts and coupons for that area only.

I already have a entertainment book for my area.
We are going to WDW in Sept. Are there good coupons that we will actually use in the Orlandoo book? Can anyone who has the book tell me a couple of places the coupons are good for?

Thanks for this offer. I ordered mine for Orlando today. They are out of my hometown book but for 5 bucks (10 with shipping) I am sure to save that. I was going to borrow my sisters card for the HRH but now I have my own.

We just got back from WDW - here's were I used my entertainment book
Car rental - saved $45.00 with Avis
Hotel - Calypso Cay - Country Inn and suites - saved 44.50 a night for a king suite - discount not available on the kid's suite
Jungle Jim's restaurant in the Crossroads - buy one entree get one free saved $8.00
Mcdonalds - several coupons - buy one double cheese burger - get one free saved $2.00 each time (3 coupons in all)
lots of other coupons but I just didn't use them. Several coupons for popeye's fried chicken, hardees, other fast food - also for nicer places to eat.
I found a driving directions website and mapped out all the restaurants from our hotel - this came in handy.
hope this helps

I ordered mine today as well. We were going to try Pebbles anyway so its already paid for. Too bad we don't have a baby sitter cause Arthurs27 would be great. I was reading some other posts that said you can use the actual card in your own hometown. If that is true than it is an even bigger bargain!!

There is a rumor started on the Mycoupons board about this. Someone is saying that they will charge you attomatically for next years book if you buy at the $5 price. Has anyone seem mention of this? I didn't.
Thanks OP for posting this deal! I'm sure we will get use out of this after our Disney cruise in Sept.I do believe this is a rumor. It has been discussed on another board and it seems to be that since they can only charge what we authorize, we should be fine. Sorry for any confusion.

If that is true, they would have lawsuits on them, as there is no mention of this in the advertisement, or in any of the order confirmations I have received. Ofcourse, a rumor is a rumor, and I am not even going to believe it.
Man, rumors make me mad

I took advantage of this and got 2 books, however, when I tried the link today, to send it to a friend, it came up with only the $10 off coupon. I went in and cleared my cache, my cookies, everything, and it still comes up with just the $10 off.
Anyone have a newer link to use?
Thanks

Unfortunately, on the link I had, it stated that this exceptional buy was only available until May 8th. I have tried all of the links I used to get the book, and you are right, it now only provides the $10.00 off offer. :(

I just read on another board that someone contacted Entertainment.Com and they deny that the offer for $5 with free shipping was a valid offer. They claim some outside group tried to fradulently combine two offers which they cannot honor. Checked my credit card and it has not been charged so we may all be out of luck with that particular offer. John K.

I purchased mine as $5 and $5 shipping- still a good eal-- I also asked for only standard shipping which would take 5- 7 days -- guess what I found in my mailbox just 3 days after ordering?? WOW! that was fast! Faster than when I ordered my local one in the fall!

I received my book pretty quickly, and was charged the $10.00 ($5.00 plus $5.00 shipping) for the book. ;)
A great deal for everyone that was able to take advantage of it!!:bounce:
Mine came in today's mail but I'll have to check with the CC company to see how much I was charged. Even at the 5 + 5 for shipping, they would be a bargain with all the discount coupons I can use from the local book. Thanks so much for the post!

I heard about the $5 book order, went to Entertainment.com to order it, a pop-up window showed up on my screen stating the $5 book order, and there was a little box in the upper right corner of the web site with the same offer. So, I ordered the book.
My final order showed that I was being charged $25 plus $5 shipping. Thinking that this was a mistake, I canceled the order and tried again, only to have the same price show up. I thought that maybe there was just a problem with the final check-out, so I finished the order, hoping that the correct price of $5 would show up in the confirmation e-mail.
It did not show up. I was charged $30 total. I sent an email to Entertainment, stating that I was ordering the book for $5, as their site stated, and asking why I was not charged that. Here is what they said:
The current promotion on www.entertainment.com is $10 off the retail price. The price of books vary. The best way for you to take advantage of this offer is to order the book online.
If you are asking about a special offer that you have seen for $5 per book plus $5 shipping, we are not able process your order. This short term promotion was available on other websites and is no longer available. In addition, we would like to advise you that Entertainment has never authorized an offer for $5 per book with free shipping. Other websites have taken two separate book order promotions and fraudulently combined them into one. We have already demanded that those websites take these offers down immediately since they are not a valid Entertainment offer.
Again, we apologize for the inconvenience and confusion this unfortunate incident has caused you.

I will be sending back my book "return to sender" if they don't honor the price that was on their website. Also, I never mentioned anything about getting free shipping, as I was not aware that this was available. So, I think a phone call is in order. Hopefully someone will be able to help me there.
After reading some of the recent posts, I called my CC company last night; the charges were still being posted to my account but the company rep told me I was only being charged the $15 for the three books I ordered and received; two local and one for Orlando. So, I got the books for $5 apiece and didn't pay any shipping.

Uuhhh....from what I read, they did honor the final price...if you ok'ed what was on the final page and submitted the order, that is what you were okaying to be charged. That is why I ALWAYS print out my order confirmations. If the order confirmation isn't what I wanted to pay, then I don't order it.
By the way, the book is a heck of a buy even at regular price.
I'd be surprised if they ever run a promotion like this again, due to the 'stink' that it raised. Just can't be worth the couple bucks they make to have all the hassles with books being returned & nasty e-mails, etc.

My 3 books just arrived and I was charged $15 total. So, I got the free shipping as well. I believe last Wednesday was the last day you could get the $5 each with free shipping. I went there the next day to order another for a friend and the offer had been recinded. The price was then $25 each. The window closed quickly! Even on Wednesday, you had to enter the site using the special link or the price was $25. John K.

I placed two seperate orders, one for the $5 + $5 shipping, and one for the $5 total price. I received both, one through USPS and one through Airborne express. So they did honor at least some of the $5 total price orders.

I ordered a total of 9 books (FIL is a coupon junkie, he is sooooo cool) for $5 with free shipping, they were delievered today by AirBorne express and my CC was charged $45 just like it should be. I wouldn't worry too mush about being charged more than you agreed to pay. We as customers made the orders in good faith, the worst they could do to us as customers is decline to complete the order. It's the people who set up the alleged fraud that will have a problem. JMHO

I think I placed my order on the 7th. We're heading to LA this summer and got both LA books, plus another for the hometown all at the $5 free shipping offer. The books arrived last night. Thanks to everyone for posting this info. Good luck to everyone else.
