I read in the Unofficial Guide to WDW that time share owners including DVC can qualify for the Florida Residant Annual Pass discount by showing a copy of their deed.
Is this true? Has anyone tried this? The seasonal pass is really inexpensive for those that don't go to WDW during summer or holiday periods.

The documents we sign at time of sale explains that we are not allowed Florida resident pass status unless we are indeed a Florida resident. There are a series of criteria to prove residencey. You need at least 2 of 5 I believe. To simplify it, no.

This is a notorious mistake in the Unofficial guide. You can only get Florida Resident's discounts if you actually live there. Sorry. :(

You can get the Florida Resident Seasonal Pass if you live in Florida. We own and live in Florida 4 months a year(but are Ky residents) and had no problem getting the seasonal pass. You must show Utility bills, cable or phone bills. On the renewal the CM didn't ask to see anything although we were prepared to show the proof of residency.

That is not consistant on the renewal. I was asked to prove residency when I renewed last, and I have a Florda Driver license....may be because I look kind of shady...
