Hi all. We are new member of DVC. We bought in last January (250 points at VWL) during our Eastern Carribean cruise. We sold our points back to Disney for last year and our use year begins in August. We are planning on going on the Western Carribean cruise in January. I've got a few questions though. !) how do I get on the DVC web site. Do I have to call member services for a password? 2) In the past I've always had Disney book our air. When using points, can they book still book the air portion of our trip. I know I will be borrowing points from 2004, but that's okay.
Thanks.
Maureen

WELCOME HOME!!
You can call your vacation guide or 1-800-800-9100 and they can provide the information you'll need to access the member's site. It's also found in the Vacation Magic magazine and in the Member's guidebook you should have received. We have a policy to not provide it in an open forum like this, but it is readily available from DVC directly.
Please feel free to ask any questions about your membership right here on this board.
Enjoy!

Welcome to DVC ! We are also doing the western caribbean in Jan, the second week. We usually fly US Air and book on line. We have sailed on several cruise lines and think DCL is the best all round and we're empty nesters ! Joining DVC was one of the wisest decisions we've ever made.

If I recall correctly, MS can book the air portion of your trip for you (as they can also make a car reservation for you if needed), however, reports on this board seem to indicate that you will almost always find a better deal on airfire yourself by using one of the various online services, such as expedia or travelocity.
