Big Thunder Mountain is closed when we go next week

It says it will open again on Saturday 15th November... and we leave on Friday 14th November in the evening :sad2:

Are the dates for closures usually 100% accurate? Or will there be a small chance that they may open the ride earlier if repairs get finished earlier?

Has anyone experienced this happening on any of their trips?

Ride closure dates are normally pretty accurate. When I sent in Sept SM2 was closed and they stuck to it.

They are usually accurate, especially in off peak times as it allows them to get the majority of the maintenance out of the way ready for the peak times.

They've always been spot on to the day when we've been in the past. I've only just thought to check our dates and amazingly there isn't 1 attraction closed during the entire length of our stay. I would've been in so much trouble had POTC been closed again. :rolleyes1

They are usually accurate as Disney has over 50 years of experience with these things. And if they say they need 1 week then they will need one week. :)
