I Know we are planning on doing a Bucca Meet is that going to be on Friday Or Saturday?

What are the Plans for Saturdays "Picnic" at Patricks...is it going to be Pot-Luck or how will the food be handled?


What is everyone going to do on Sunday...Heading back home early, or sticking around till later?


Of course you know I always have to plan ahead :)

We are going to be staying at the Embassy Suites in Lombard, I hope lots of others will be staying there too.

Pat- We will probably do a combination of cooking on the grill and catoring. Anyone local I may ask if they want to bring a dish to pass, that would be nice, but its too hard for people coming from out of town. I know the sign up sheet is currently not listed becouse the upcoming meets page is gone from the main page :(

I have to get through some stuff this upcoming week or two and then I will probably start another thread for who ever is interested and planning on coming. :) The party date is still Sat July 6th- the plans afterwards are up to whatever you guys want.

Buca di Beppo is Friday night. We haven't yet set a time or determined just how many folks are planning to attend. Knowing the popularity of the place, I suppose that it isn't too early to ask for a preliminary headcount so that we can make our reservation. So how about it. How many are interested in getting together Friday evening?

This trip is now in question. :( Bill's not sure he can head back out so soon after coming back from our vacation. If that's the case, I'm going to try to come by myself. I'd be arriving on Friday and heading home Sunday. I do already have my room at the Embassy Suites in Lombard, too. :D

As for food on Saturday, I'm available to help in whatever way. But whatever I bring, Brian can't show me up and do me one better like he did last year at Chris's with my cookie bars and his giant decorated cookie. :mad:

I have to agree, the cost of seeing a major league game has gotten ridiculous. When I go down to see the Cubs or Sox normally its becouse a vendor has comped me parking and the seats. Even when I get that taken care of you still better have $50 for some food, soda, beer or snacks. The cougars are just as entertaining, and much easier on the pocketbook. :)

DG, do not be intimidated...not that you are, but I have had multiple strickes and lines drawn through my name...I have even been killed by him in chat, and he still puts up with me....lol. I would not worry, the man needs to be put in his place every once in a while!!!! He is way to spoiled!!!!
