AKL question

If I would like to visit this resort and take in the sights and maybe eat at the food court would I be able to do this or do I have to have a reservation here? I thought a while back I had read that you have to have a dinner reservation or be a guest at the resort.

You used to need to have a dinner reservation, but that has changed. You can go and visit AKL now without the ressie.

we visited in march with out a ressie it was not as great as i had
expected the animal area is tiny, but it is worth looking at it
has a totally different feel than all the other resorts.
