A co-worker told me that he was looking into DVC at HH last fall and that the information DVC sent to him did not include all the legal fineprint usually associated with a contract. I am awaiting an informational package from DVC (hopefully by the end of the week). Will this information contain all the legal conditions of the papers I will be required to sign? <IMG SRC="/infopop/emoticons/icon_confused.gif" alt="confused">
Thanks for any info.

The info packet you will get doesn't contain a lot of fine print. You can request that they send you a copy of the complete public offering statement and sample contracts, and they will. We got them about 2 months before we decided to purchase, so we had time to look them over pretty carefully (they make REALLY boring reading, by the way). By the time we were ready to purchase, we knew just what we were signing, so it took some of the anxiety away from the process...

While staying at HH in 2000 we took a tour and received paperwork, but it did not include a sample contract and the other legal timeshare docs. Being a lawyer, I was a little taken aback that they would not include this info in the packet, knowing we were seriously interested. However, a call to the office resulted in more than enough reading material(which I am happy to report, I saved until after my vacation was over!!!!)

I'm an attorney also, a prosecutor, so I never have to read contracts. :D
I am planning on calling today for as much information as possible. Is there anything specific I need to request. My DW is more worried about the legal fine print than I am.
Thanks.
