Too late for AP discount in November??

Hi everyone! We have decided to visit the World for Thanksgiving weekend, just this last weekend. We will be getting Annual Passes too when we are there. I already made our rezzie at the POR, they didn't have any AAA rates available (I asked since I am a member) and I didn't even bother asking about AP rates.

Before I call and sit through their LONG menu do you think its too late to get an AP discount for Thanksgiving week?

I think from the rates I have checked that the GP rates are somewhat better than the AP rates now. I really don't understand why. The AP rates aren't giving discounts for the weekends now like they did when the code first came out. The GP and Disney Visa FD do give lower rates for the weekend. So, while some nights may have a lower AP rate, if you are going over the weekend, the overall cost might be lower with the GP rates. You should aslo check out the Free Dining with Disney Visa. It ended up being a better deal for us especially since we stayed in a Value resort. Just some other ideas.
