Just to let those who have not tried it know how really great Vero is...

My DS (19 years) loves WDW, has not "outgrown" it and loves to bring a friend. BUT, last year we took a couple of days to try Vero before heading to WDW for the annual family vacation. This year Vero was booked up so I gave us a couple of extra park days and booked us into OKW before heading over to BWV for the big vacation. Every time he calls home from college he asks if we can check for cancellations at Vero. We are now less than 3 weeks and counting and he still wants a couple of days at vero rather than extra time at the parks.

We had the room shown. Just sitting on the balcony gazing at that wondrous view was a great vacation. When we walked in the room, the housekeepers had opened all the drapes on windows and french doors. What you can't see from that picture is that room is in kind of a dormer. So the windows wrap all the way around the corner and you get hit right in the face with ocean view as far as you can see both ahead and part of the right hand wall. It was awesome!

Oh wow! I have been so busy at home that I really haven't given too much thought to my upcoming trip to OKW/Vero. Your photo is excellent and has made me so excited to go!! Thanks for the excellent shot and for reminding me why I LOVE Vero so much.

Thanks for the pic! I tried desperately to get a 1 bedroom for our honeymoon (leaving just two weeks from tomorrow!) but all they had available was a studio. I'm still hoping for an oceanview, even though they told me they were few and far between.

Keep trying. We are leaving 2 weeks from Thursday - I just called and they had a Beach Cottage available!

We don't need that kind of space. It was tempting, but I couldn't bring myself to spend the points for just 4 of us. Apparently, though, somebody cancelled a beach cottage, so miracles could still happen!
