It's almost Friday! Whoo-hoo!!! We have sort of a busy weekend coming up, so I'm hoping to get some stuff knocked out today.

Here's my list:

1. Coffee!! DS was ready to wake up and play this morning, but I'm not quite there yet!!
2. Drop off DS
3. Work--must locate my desk underneath all of the paper!
4. Pants to cleaners
5. Pick up DS
6. Clean DH's bathroom--STILL haven't done this!!
7. Laundry--wash, fold, and put away
8. Dinner--chicken or pork chops? Can't decide!
9. Call DVC
10. Decide about March trip and dining
11. Get everything ready for tomorrow night

Put stew ingredients in crock pot Done
Get DH up and off to work - he didn't get home from a business trip until 2:00 a.m. so he's going in late. Done
Clean up kitchen Done
laundry Done
Tidy/vacuum living room Done
Clean bathrooms Done
Put hanger on frame of my stitched birds and get it hung on the wall with the stitched blue jays
Work on 4x4 rolodex swap
Stitch on ice cream sampler

The best part of the day is that while DH was still sleepy, I convinced him we needed a long weekend trip to Disney World between New Year's and school starting back up! I made those reservations quickly before he changed his mind and while there were still passholder discount rooms available! I'm sooooo happy to have something longer than a day trip planned!!!!

You ladies are certainly busy. I have had days in the past that look like that, but not today!

Not working (yahoo!) DONE

Kids up, showered, clothes ironed, dressed, bags packed. DONE

Drive DS to "walk to school day" (I know... sounds silly to DRIVE him to Walk to school day... but we live in a very rural town so the kids are meeting about 1/2 mi from school and walking together for this event). DONE

Take DD to Dunkin Donuts for a cup of cocoa (She opted not to do Walk to School day... her backpack weighs about 80 pounds!). DONE

Drop off DD at school with cocoa in hand. DONE

Get home and load dishwasher. DONE

Feed cat and guinea pigs (that DD forgot AGAIN!). DONE

Check e-mail and the DIS. DOING

Hang a load of clothes on the line (if my hands don't freeze doing it!) NOT DONE... sun didn't come out so I didn't bother.... will wait until tomorrow.

Put dinner in the crockpot. DONE AND RICE MADE.

Make my bed. OOPS, missed this. Done now!

Pick up around the house. DONE, but it was easy since DH was gone yesterday and last night.

Repair DD's Halloween costume that she has worn twice already! DONE

Sit down at scrapping table for a few hours!! (Bonus!) NOT DONE.... house is way too cold (currently 57 degrees inside) and I refuse to turn on the heat, so I sat in the small office with the little electric heater running and micro-managed my digital photos.... reorganized some into new folders, ordered about 200 prints for scrapping.

Get kids from bus stop at 2:35. SOON DONE

Supervise snacks/homework. DONE

Have DS do final try-on of costume and make any necessary repairs or alterations. It needed some taking it, but now it is DONE!

Drive DD to swimteam practice (30 minutes away). DONE

Quick trip to Target and grocery store while DD is swimming (Skipping work out myself.... bad girl!). DONE and got everything I needed!

Home from swim, serve dinner, watch Survivor. DONE... thank goodness for the DVR... we didn't start watching Survivor until 8:40pm!

Be sure ALL halloween costume items are ready for tomorrow. DONE

Be sure DD has an overnight bag packed for party for tomorrow night. DONE... sort of. Not sure she remembered everything.

Be sure DD has her swim bag packed for swim meet this Sat. BEFORE she goes to the party tomorrow! NOT DONE... guess I will end up packing tomorrow!

I'm sure I'll throw in a few more house chores as the day goes along. I managed to do some clean up in my scrapping area later in the day when the house got warmer. The dining room is cleaned up, now that the costume stuff is gone!

No, the same one. It has a tulip setting and one of the tips of the tulip broke off. So instead of 4 prongs to hold the diamond I was down to 3. :scared1: The jeweler said that the other 3 were also loose, so it's a good thing I took it in. It also had a crank in the shank. So it is all fixed and beautiful again!! I am so excited to have it back.

PO3 - right there with you today. DD coughing - doing neb treatments here. Had to take her to school at 8 and pick her up at 9:30, bring her home for breathing treatment then take her back. It's getting cold here today - 62 currently and clouding up - feeling a bit guilty for sending her at all. If the rains come as predicted may keep her home tomorrow but it is Halloween party....decisions, decisions.

i told him we dive in the water not off the couch!!!!!

same thing with my ring last fall. we had it all fixed up. thank goodness that we took it in in the 1st place. it would have stunk to have lost my diamond. i'm all about my bling. i love my diamonds! dh and i have a very good friend from Lebanon that is a jeweler and he makes me some beautiful pieces. that's dh's thing. loves to buy me jewelry. he's says he can never go wrong with that. and my bff tells him all the time that i have way too much and i tell her to zip it!!

tinkryansmom- i feel your pain. he's been coughing all day. i don't want to keep him home again tomorrow because it's halloween, but i'm not sure i can send him like he is right now. it stinks. hope your dd is feeling better. is she doing albuterol? i hate that stuff. makes my man jittery & nutty.

Poor little guy! Between the cough, and the dive, he and you have had quite a time of it today!

But, you do the first thing you think of... Wanna know how I know? I'd had surg when DS was 3, and he fell down the steps. My first instinct was to pick him up and run back upstairs with him and put him on the bed! WHAT WAS I THINKING!! I thought I had ripped out every stitch, but it was pure adrenaline! When I took him to the hosp, DH had them check me too to make sure I didn't hurt something important.

Aside from lifting a "little" too much today, I hope today was a better day!

Oh, I forgot to tell you Holly that I got a Pandora bracelet- love it! The jewelry shop that I took my ring to was doing a fundraiser for a local food bank. If you took in 2 canned goods you got a free Pandora bracelet. So DH got one for DD for Christmas- I figure it will be so much easier for her than a charm bracelet.

I'm really excited about it. DD wanted one when I got mine so I am excited I am getting one for her. It's better for kids as a charm bracelet, you can change out the beads, not worry about the charms getting caught or messed up. I just have one bead so far, but I plan on filling that sucker up! My mom even got one.
