I know these PS's are REALLY hard to get so this may not come off, & that it maybe a bit 'young' for us  But Ive never done this& it would be fun, so I was just wondering if anyone fancies it one of the mornings?

In 9 trips to WDW, I haven't done this either. I'm game. Anyone else?

I really like breakfast at the castle - having done it twice. I'd be interested in doing it again, but PS's are VERY hard to come by.

Barry I have done Cindy's a few times. The size of the dinning area is much smaller than the rest the characters seem to have more time with you. Most of the characters are the princesses and I have also seen Peter Pan and Wendy and sometimes the princes there too. It is just much more different than the rest. The others are great too.

I've never done this either. I'm be interested. I don't know if they can accommodate a large group, though. It's a very popular thing to do.

I have been what I call - EXTREMELY - lucky and have gotten PS's at CRT the past two times I've tried. So I would be willing to make a call if needed. For some reason I have no problems getting through and getting a table. They could accomodate a larger group - maybe up to 16 I would say in one area. They have an area next to where we sat in December that is like part booth and part chairs (one side is "booth seats" and then across from you on the other side of the table is chairs). That could accomodate a larger number and be the best place that I would think they would seat you. There are some "balcony" type areas, meaning they are up a step or two from the main seating area that they also could put a group I would imagine.
So if needed, I'd be happy to make the call for you all. Someone would just need to give me their info - name, where staying, when arriving, when leaving, and phone number. Oh...and date!

Chris, If your sure you wouldnt mind, when we have all the details, would you try and get us p.s's? You are going to join us though arent you??
Do you know the max number of people you can book for at once? Could we have two table, the 16 seater plus another one??
As soon as we have all the discon details, we can choose a date and take it from there.
Thanks
Emma

I had breakfast in the castle last October with the princesses. It really was fun, albeit overpriced and marginal food. But I'd do it again. It would be fun with a group of adults.

I will be more than happy to help with making the PS. But, have 2 or 3 dates in mind in case the first date doesn't get in. But I have not had any problems. Just get me the info the closer it gets. I doubt I will do this one as I've done it twice and to me, twice is enough for me! :D But I'm more than happy to help. I'm up at that hour anyway!!!!

Thanks Chris, your a star :D Do you know the max no. we can book it for?
Gee, thanks so much, Chris. What a sweetie-calling even though you won't be there. :D
We'd sure like for you to join us. It will be a whole new experience sharing it with a bunch of crazy Disney addicts like us. :) :)

I don't know what the maximum number is Emma but I sure can call to find out! Wouldn't it be funny if we took the whole room!!!!! ROFL - doubtful but it would be funny!!!

During the Swan/Dolphin cheerleader meet in July, I believe 3 people had PS's for large groups of 10-12 people for a Sunday morning. We were incredibly lucky to have gotten those PS's then.
By the way, I thought the food was great both times I ate there.

If you guys wouldn't mind a newbie/lurker along, I'd like to go to. I've never had breakfast at the castle, only lunch. (I don't post much, but you guys just crack me up.)

We should be able to choose a date soon once the offical things have been anounced. Then comes the hard bit of getting the p.s's

is anyone still interested in doing this? I didn't find it on the mini-meet list. And is it 60 or 90 days out for PS. whoops, if it was 90 days.

It's 90 days out that you have to make reservations, so I'm sure it's booked up unless Chris did manage to call, which at this point my guess is she didn't.
NOW, having said that, I have a PS for the Princess and Friends in Epcot(Askerhaus) on December 5th at 9am. I'd be willing to call to see if I can expand my PS if anyone is interested.

We are doing this in two weeks. I would love to do it again. Sign me up! Cindie's is 60 days out for PS. (It took us 3 days of calling to get in!)
If this doesn;t come through, there is the Norway breakfast. You can book that up to 120 days out. (Doing that too!!)

Sorry guys. :( Emma is still in Vegas and unable to access this. :( I'll alert her in e-mail.
Chris, have you done anything on this? It's okay if you haven't, I was just wondering. :) Thanks everyone. :)

No I'm sorry I hadn't. I thought I had posted after we found out the new guidelines that I would not be able to do this but I guess I didn't. It must have just gone about the wayside until it was drudged up the other day. I don't have the funds to do this upfront. I thought Emma or someone else was going to take care of this. Unfortunately I haven't had time to even think about this part and I wasn't planning on attending this one since I've done this meal several times and it's more meaningful for me to do it with my daughter.
Sorry guys..I hope someone else can try this or something else.

Keep me posted on this....
I would also like to try (or maybe would rather try) the new princess breakfast in Norway....

No problem Chris. It's totally understandable. I wouldn't be surpirsed if Emma sort of forgot about this too. When she gets back maybe she can make some calls. Or maybe we don't even have time/room for this. No worries Chris. You've done so much already. :) :)

Now...I would also be interested in the breakfast in Norway!!!!! That I would be interested in coordinating depending on what their instructions are - I just can't fork out any advanced money right for anything other than what I have it already designated for.

sorry I drudged this up. I just thought it would be fun. I completely understand about the money aspect.
Norway sounds great too, but at 120 days out, are we too late? anyone know the guidelines for it?

Isn't Shep doing this? I don't think he's coordinating a group thing, but I think he mentioned it. I could be thinking of something else though.
Chris, where would it fit? :teeth: I'm all for trying new places. :) Wednesday morning might be a suggestion. :)

OK you can count me in for both , once we decide the tentative dates on that , I can call them in and try my luck but I need to know dates and have a head count. Chris , I do not think you need to pay anything right now . The only thing with me is that depending on the date I may or may not be there as I will not be there the entire week or even the entire DISCON dates.
Let me know!

Hi Guys!
I thought that this idea had been squashed too because of the new booking conditions like Chris said. If you still have to pay a deposit per person when booking i wont be able to book it as my visa card is full Vegas style at the moment. If we want a breakfast booked elsewhere that doesnt need a deposit and we can fit it in i dont mind sorting that out. Just give me a couple of days to get over my jet lag!

I can probably help here from the credit card point of view but everytime I have tried to ring to get ressies at Cindy's I'm always too late I guess the time difference doesn't help - but I'm willing to give it a go as long as it's not on a day where I don't have to work (time difference) I can ring - I also want to do the Norway one as long as there is space?

Just a reminder that the person that books Cindy's also needs to attend and I wasn't wanting to attend the breakfast thus another reason why I couldn't book. Just thought of this so wanted to FYI as a reminder.
