Hi there. I'm wondering if anyone could help me with suggestions for a good quality pocketbook sized point & shoot camera? I currently have a Cannon Rebel but I'm looking for something I can take with me anywhere anytime. I was thinking the Nikon Cool Pix s550 but some of the reviews on it were not so good. Any help would be greatly appreciated. Thanks!!

Pocketbook sized? Either you have one tiny pocketbook or you want a huge camera :rotfl: Okay okay, now that I got that out of the way...I can't recommend a specific model but before I got my Nikon D60 I was really happy with my Canon Digital Elph point and shoot (so much so that even though it's about 5 years old, I still plan on take it on our next trip to WDW for situations where I don't want a dSLR with me - like dinner, wet rides, etc. Mine is pretty old, an SD300 and they have since come out with a lot of different models. Nice color and image quality, decent zoom and I thought all of the modes and menus were pretty easy to use. They also all seem to have a nice, bright LCD screen on them.
Good luck!

you might want to check out the Panasonic TZ5, it's pocket size, 10x zoom, good pics (but not the pic IQ of the Rebel series!)
