Hi Everyone! I hope many of you are anxiously anticipating upcoming trips to Mickey's "House." 3 weeks from Wednesday we will be enjoying a hopefully fun, rowdy meal at Whispering Canyon! Do any of you have any secrets for making the last few weeks pass. When do you start your packing? We have never been to the World this time of year before so it doesn't even seem real that we are going! :goodvibes -Kelly

Plan what you want to do each day. :cool2:

Print of luggage labels etc.

If you have kids get them to start planning their travel bags - autograph books, stickers, colouring books etc. :3dglasses

Spend time on the boards researching restaurants so you know where to eat and where not to eat popcorn::

We leave in 24 days and I just want to go now! I have my itinerary and all paperwork organized (other than boarding passes). I'm half packed already (other than winter clothes we still need). I have the kids stuff organized and ready for the plane. I just want to leave! I'm with you...so hard to pass the time! I've been spending some time on youtube watching other peoples videos.

We like to countdown to our trip by watching different Disney movies that pertain to attaractions...Swiss Family Robinson, Tom & Huck, Haunted Mansion, etc.

20 days and counting!!! We haven't even told our kids yet! It's going to be sooo fun! We're driving from Salt Lake so we're making a pit stop in Vegas along the way. My kids have never been there so we're going to make it sound like we're going to Vegas for a trip. Then wake up and say "OK, that was fun wasn't it? Well... time to go home." Then drive to Disneyland!!!

Can't wait!!!

Typically we do the countdown chain, select rides each day so as to select our favorites, watch the Disney movies we haven't seen in a while, play trivia games, etc. The only problem this time is the kids still don't know about the trip and hopefully won't until we are on the road. That means that we are passing the time by trying as hard as possible not to talk about the trip during the day and then staying up half the night planning, packing and being too excited to sleep.
