Ever stay in an obstructed view at HRH?

We have an obstructed view reserved and was wondering where we might be located? We are not too concerned with the view we just don't want a horrible location.

When I made the reservation they told me they had an obstructed view for $xx so we took it. They just offered it to us.

2 years ago we had a poolview room. This was before they created the obstructed view catagory. Our view was of a gigantic palm tree. If you plastered yourself to the corner of the window, you could make out a bit (about the size of a quarter) of blue from the water of the pool. Otherwise, I got a lovely garden view of a palm tree. Maybe they were not taking into consideration that vegetation grows when they strategically placed all the bushes and trees, that they would eat into the financial gain created by "view" catagories. I remember being very irritated that I paid extra to see the pool and only saw the plume of a tree.

We had an obstructed view. It was a pool view room with a tree in front of the window. Well worth the discount.

Our Obstructed view was like everyone elses... A big palm tree right smack dab in front of the window.

Saved us close to $100 bucks that trip, well worth it. :thumbsup2

in case you are curious, there are no public lists to indicate an obstructed view room.

you would have to call the front desk to get that info.

shrubbery, trees, foliage, etc, are trimmed, cut, removed, etc at unknown times.

the listing of obstructed room views changes.
