We'll be at BWV for the first time in March and I'd like to eat a CS meal at The Boardwalk Bakery. I checked the menu and there are no meals for kids listed. Are there really no options for a 3 year old? I don't know if my kids will eat paninis.
If so, would the regular sandwiches be counted as a kids meal credit?

At CS places that accept the dining plan, if there is not a kids' menu, then the kids get a regular meal from the regular menu. We had this experience at Toy Story Pizza Planet at DHS in July and my son (3 years old) got something from the regular menu and got to share a pizza with his little brother who was under 3 so not on the DDP.
Another suggestion...we will also be staying at BWV, from now on, and I looked into CS places that take the DDP. Beach Club is across the lake, and the Marketplace takes the DDP. They have children's options there. I have considered this as well, just as another place to try. We plan to go for 10 nights, spend 6 days at the parks, and the other 4 at the resort and Downtown Disney to go shopping. So we wanted more than one CS option for lunch. I found out that BC Marketplace is there, and also Hurricane Hannah's at BC/YC which is outdoors by the pool and they serve burgers and such.

I'd skip lunch at BW Bakery. Ate there last month and although the sandwiches looked good they were kind of nasty. We were starving so usually anything will taste ok but I couldn't eat my tomato mozzarella sandwich, kind of soogy with sundried tomatoes instead of real ones and my DH had the grilled panini (wasn't really grilled) cheese not even clos to melting but the cream cheese brownie we split was yummy.

It sounds like we'll opt out of the Boardwalk Bakery.
Thanks for the feedback and advice.

I've had sandwiches probably a half dozen times at Boardwalk Bakery but it's been at least a year. They have always been great. Don't remember what kind they were, I know it was never a panini.

Readers should be advised that it's been reported that Pizza Planet very recently added a children's menu. There is pizza on this menu but the reports say it is not the regular-size pizza, it's about half that size.

What CS places do not have kids meals? This is important because my kids won't eat many "adult" type meals.

Yes the Boardwalk bakery has a kids sandwich, they have an uncrustable pb and j as well as turkey or ham sandwich to pick from. They also get a drink, chips and dessert. At least we did on several occasions in June. We thought the sandwiches were quite good and a change of pace from brugers for a counter service. The desserts are wonderful!
