Pending Letter?

Two of my friends who applied with me received a pending letter in the mail yesterday and they were only two days after me in the interview process. I'm sure that the offices were flooded with applications and interviews but I got my acceptance letter in 10 days, while they didn't, and they only interviewed 2 days after me. I'm sure it's nothing for them to worry about, but just curious on who else got one of these cryptic letters and were they given to some people last program?

How long ago did you apply?
I got a pending letter. I was later accepted after 8 weeks of waiting from my interview. 4 weeks after my pending letter I received my offer packet.

I had a pending letter and did indeed receive an acceptance. I heard they are sending out a lot more pending letters this season because of the overwhelming number of applications that they have received. Either way your friends will get a definitely answer. I ended up waiting a total of six weeks from my interview.

My boyfriend and I both got pending letters
Only I was accepted (he wasn't) but we both got our letters a week after we got the pending letters.

I think the pending letters are just what they say they are....a notice that your application is still being reviewed, and it's nothing for them to worry about. It's just a way of saying "hey, we haven't forgot about you, but it's taking longer than we thought"
