Our first trip home - Day 9

This morning started rather murky!

But we still made our way to Epcot first thing after toast and donuts :teeth: We got FP’s for Soarin’ then went on Test Track, once again great ride not to be missed. We had plenty of time before our Soarin’ FP’s so went on the land. This is a very interesting ride viewing all the different crops being grown.

It was then time to see the gulls and Nemo :)

By now our FP’s for Soarin’ were active so we enjoyed another viewing of California. It is great to watch as we can recognise so many places from our 2003 and 2006 road trips. After this we headed over to World showcase and the sun was coming out nicely.

Lunch was now calling and it had to be the Kringla Bakery, but the open faced sandwiches had gone to be replaced by floured rolls.

They were very tasty though. We stopped to look in more detail at some of the countries as interesting facts had been pointed out on our Segway tour, inc the hidden Mickey in Germany :thumbsup2

Once all the way round the weather was looking quite threatening.

Luckily we got back to SSR just before the rain!

After an hour or so it brightened up and we went to the pool again :) But you could still hear the thunder in the distance and after a while the pool was closed, but as the sun was starting to set it wasn’t a bad thing.

Tonight we were off to MNSSHP and with the way the weather had been we weren’t sure we would escape a downpour :eek: We got ready and as we were at the bus stop saw a great sunset.

Once in MK we collected our bags and went off collecting candy! First ride was POTC which was fun.

We then found a place in Frontierland to watch the parade. I do enjoy MNSSHP parade.

It was then time to try to new and improved Haunted Mansion which really was decked out well for Halloween. Again more candy and we went around collecting more and more before stopping to watch HalloWishes.

By now it was getting late and the weather had heald out, so we went back to SSR and checked our bags for the amount of candy collected.

It was then time for bed.

Great day Claire. Shame about the weather but at least it didn't rain whilst you were at MNSSHP. (I can't wait to go to this next Sept!)
