Anyone out there going with us ?

We would love to meet you.

We haven't booked yet, but are planning on joining you and a bunch of DH's family. We will be touring the World with two families (friends) and then will meet up with the cousins, their other relatives and friends, and an aunt, on the Wonder. We are me, DH, and DD (will be 13). DSiL will be with us too (built in babysitter) :thumbsup2

Okay, finally booked. Got two rooms for practically the price of one. Spent a few extra dollars for a balcony - but never had one before. This will be our first cruise on the Wonder after two on the Magic.

We arrive in FL on June 25th and are at the Pop Century until July 1. Then on to Universal until the cruise. Two more families may be joining us for the WDW portion. Still trying to decide on the dining plan. We've been to WDW before, but before the dining plan was started.:confused3

We'll be on this cruise too! Just my DH and I. :lovestruc We don't have any kids yet!

We'll be staying in a cat. 12 inside room (cheaping it out for the cruise!) but we're staying at POFQ for 3 nights beforehand. This is our FIRST Disney cruise ever!!!!! (And only our 2nd cruise ever!) We are soo excited!

Hi! I'd been there when I was 16 w/my parents & fell in love with it. We went to Edinburgh for a few days, train to Inverness, car up north (all the way to Wick), over to Loch Torridon, out to Skye, & back to Edinburgh.

It was fantastic & we even fit in the British Open at St. Andrews. My DH was thrilled...aren't I a great wife! :rotfl:

I'm from NY, my DH is from Connecticut, & we currently reside in good ol' New Jersey!

Yes! I'm not sure if you're having the same weather we are, but in CT the weather has been stink-o-rama! Clouds and rain and we're lucky if the temperature makes it into the 70s. Bring on the tropics!!

first you have to go to a site to make one. I use http://www.mickeypath.com

Once you make your banner it gives you a code that you can use to insert it into signatures.

Then you need to go to UserCP at the top left of the page and click on edit signature on the left-hand side. You can paste it into that.

Seems there isn't many disers going on the July 5th? You can't miss my troop - all 17 of us! SO does anyone know how the fish extenders work...should I even bother? Anyone know a link I can go to? Thanks and see you aboard...it HAS to be better weather than LI!

Outside of every cabin on the ship is a metal "fish". People sew/make pockets to hang from the fish to "collect" the surprises that others bring for them. I've never made one, but there are some great pictures on one of the threads here.

On some of the cruises, someone will organize an exchange. Or sometimes people bring magnets from their hometown to leave on the doors of other DISers. But you need to know which cabins people are staying in. It is fun to find a magnet or other surprise when you return to your room.:cool1:

We are in AKV for 2 nights then Marriott Cypress Harbor for a week then the cruise then SSP, I am soooooooo looking forward to this holiday.

Yes, the 17 of us are on a family reunion celebrating my in-laws 50th year together (49th married)....you see we all couldn't wait to go. My in-laws said with so much uncertainty in this world lets go this year instead of waiting till next year...so it is a family celebration in honor of our family! Plus both my husband and nephew will be celebrating birthdays on July 7th...so lots of celebrating to do! You cannot miss us and I have decorated all of our doors on deck 6 (since I am a disney nut and made matching backpacks for everypne) so look for us! I am still hoping for an upgrade since we are in a room for 3 and my daughter no longer wants to stay in Grandmas cabin...can alwaus hope for pixe dust....the connecting room to ours in 6606 and it is a room for 4 so I can only hope!pixiedust:

See you there! Now if only I can only find a new bathing suit?:scared1:

17 of you, that is such a OUTSTANDING way to spend family time together.
Just me and the wife - we are both only children so we have a very small family. But we love Disney ( have been to Disney World about 9 time and this is our second cruise we can't wait. Hope you guys all 17 of you have a great time

Hey, my gang will be joining this sailing!

Me, dh, dd17, dd15, dd13, dd8, dd6 and ds6. This will be our 16th cruise (fourth this year) but only our third time on the Wonder.

We have two rooms on deck 6 and are doing this back to back with the July 9th 3 night Wonder.

Hope to meet other Dis Board members at port or on ship, my kids really like to make cruise friends!

To the July 7th Birthday Gang, my dd will be celebrating her 18th on July 7th!

My best friend and her dd14 just booked this cruise with us too, so we are now a party of 10. This is their very first Disney Cruise and her dd doesn't know she is going.

We will be staying near port precruise, as our friends are flying in and staying at the Residence Inn. Is anyone else going to be there Saturday night? We live close but are going to stay to spend time with our friends.

Hello everyone! Just found out about the Disboards and joined today!

We are also going on the July 5th cruise - definitely not our first trip to Disney, but the first time we're staying at a Disney resort and going on the Disney cruise.

Hope to meet some of you. Our son is 5 and is the one and only, so hope there are some boys out there for him to hang out with!

Only one week to go!

PS Is it true that you have to buy water on the cruise???

My son has a pirate's costume that he wants to wear on Pirate Night. I also have a costume which he wants me to wear. Will we (and, more importantly, will I) look like freaks dressed up? Does anyone else do this???pirate:

You have to pay for bottled water, but filtered water at the drink station is free.

You do have to buy bottled water onboard and on Castaway Cay. You can get water out of the self-serve soda machines on deck 9 (which is free) and tap water is free in the dining rooms. The water is extremely filtered and tastes great.
You can carry on any and all drinks that you want; including water, sodas and alcohol.

You will see many adults and kids dressed up on Pirate Night. Last week on our 4 day there were more adults dressed up than kids. Many go all out in full costume, including make up.

Have a safe trip and hope the weather takes a turn for the better. It's been storming here just about all day and we are expecting up to 4 inches of rain. :scared1:
I think they said there's a 40-50% chance of rain/storms the next couple of days with temps in the high 80's low 90's. Sunday looks like it will be hot and humid with a chance of rain.

Looks like it! We're really excited, it's our first Disney cruise and only our 2nd cruise ever! :woohoo: When we do eventually have kids I'm sure we'll be taking them on Disney cruises!

We have had rain here, lots of thunderstorms in the afternoon. Hope they all stop for us to enjoy our day on Sunday!
