Hoop-Dee-Doo Revue and Mickey's BBQ

I just saw that both these restaurants are 2 table service meals is that correct? We are looking to go next Oct. but starting to look a meals now.

Yes, all dinner shows are 2 TS credits each, same as the signature restaurants!

plus at HDDR there are restrictions on where you sit on the ddp,as with the lahu.no problems with seating at BBQ as its first come first seated

they both include all you care to drink beer/wine/sangria and gratuity... so it's actually not a bad use of two credits :)

beware the all you can drink beer is budweiser (pisswater) and the wine is worse than boxed lol. With saying that we really enjoyed HDDMR. It was extremely corny and the food was phenom, but there was just something about it. We've decided it should be a fam tradition :)

I am thinking of going in December to one of these 2 as well. Which would you pick?

We will be staying at the Fort...just don't know which to choose.

I am not sure you will find the BBQ in December as I believe they say it is seasonal. We did go in August and had a blast. ALTHOUGH THE FOOD WAS ONLY SO-SO tHE ENTERTAINMENT AND DANCING WAS SOOO MUCH FUN FOR EVERYONE. MY KIDS LOVED THE OPPORTUNITY TO DANCE WITH THE CHARACTERS AND THE ADULTS LOVED TO TRY AND DO THE LINE DANCES. BY THE WAY I DONT THINK THE BUD BEER WAS SO BAD-I WOULD HAVE ENJOYED A NICE MORRETTI BUT I LOVED THAT YOU DID NOT HAVE TO WAIT FOR THE WAITRESS TO BRING YOU MORE OF ANYTHING-SELF SERVICE FOOD AND DRINK. WORTH THE TWO CREDITS ANYDAY!!!

I am embarrassed to say but we have been to Mickeys BBQ and Hoop Dee Doo April O7 Dec 07 May 08 and going to both Nov 08-10 days to go!!yahoo!!- (will be back in WDW for Christmas but making it a low key only a few ADRs relaxed trip)
They are both awesome
My husband LOVES Hoop Dee Doo- he is 44 and loves the Sangrai (certainly not a fine wine choice) and the corny jokes
My boys - 7 and 4 LOVE Mickeys BBQ- lots of time with Mickey and the gang - great show and all you can eat ice cream!!- Also after one or two bud lights you don't notice the taste as much!!!!- Go Disney transportation!!
