Lights on the castle for MK Photoshoot?

Hi folks!

Does anyone know if the white lights (for Christmas) show up in your MK Photoshoot photos? Are they on? Do they make the castle look funny?

We had our photoshoot on Jan 5 last year. The lights were turned off and they did not show up in our pics at all... it looks like the normal castle. I don't know if the Christmas lights are always off or not though... :thumbsup2

I was fortunate enough to get some castle pics with the lights on last December. They are normally turned off, but they were shooting a comercial that morning. Plus our photographer talked to the head of operations at MK to keep them on for an extra 15 minutes for us. The photographer did say on the way to MK that if we didn't have the lights on he would photoshop them in. I don't know if anyone has had them photoshopped in or not.

I know we were only like the 5th or 6th couple to get our pictures with the lights on, and they had already been turned on almost a month. I think it is really a luck of the draw type thing.

Not at all. I think they looked really pretty. They did a very good job making it look like icicles hanging off the castle.

I would love to have a Dec/Christmas wedding but we had to have the wedding before next Oct so we could have the Roots and we couldn't get all our ducks in a row for this Dec.

If you really wanted to try for the christmas lights, you can always postpone your MK photoshoot until December. You have up to a year after the wedding to have them done.

I wish I could share my pics. Unfortunately I did not get the disk, and I am unable to do the naughty thing of taking a pic of them or scanning them on my computer at the moment. ;)
