Anyone want to car/taxi pool after the TSM Party? My friend Hope and I are staying at AKL and are planning to taxi back after the party. We will order a taxi to meet us in the parking lot at DHS around midnight, or wander over to the Boardwalk and catch a taxi from there. If it isn't raining, it will be a nice walk.

I'll start a list.

My Mom and I are going to the TSM Party and staying at POFQ. We have no idea on Transportation yet. We will not have a car. If anyone is staying at POFQ, we could share a taxi...

Well, I had planned on doing the ME thing and using Disney Transportation during Mousefest, but now I'm having second thoughts, and maybe I'll get a rental car.

I'll have to wait to see if I get to go. But since I came up with the idea, if I'm there, I'm in. I'm offsite, and will give 4 people rides to wherever they want to go.

me and fiancee are local so if we get on the elite list we can give a ride to a couple of people if needed on property or close off of depending on which way you heading.

I am staying at CBR and would, I suppose I would need a ride. Provided of course that I get on that coveted list! :surfweb:
I am also open to booking a cab and sharing with a few peoples.

If we get on the coveted list (and I've resigned myself to the fact it may not happen ;) ) we would be going to SSR.

Actually DH and I were talking about this last night and we thought to save John having to organise a fleet of transport we would be happy to walk to the BW (usually do anyway) and get a taxi from there - so room for 2/3 more if you can put up with me > :banana:

Great idea by the way, I'm sure it'll be appreciated even if only a few people make their own arrangements :thumbsup2

Although I can't make this event (but I am considering hiding in Kathy's trunk as she drives though Delaware), I just wanted to say how thoughtful everyone is. It is so very generous of you all to offer rides to folks who may need it. Most of you don't even know each other, other than here on the boards and you are willing to offer a total stranger a ride. And, not only that but saving the DIS and DU a few bucks as well. I think it is just wonderful and makes me proud to be a part of this community.

Not to be a wet blanket (cause I'm willing like Mindy), but I had a thought this morning. The problems they may be facing (FOR us, I might add :thumbsup2 ) might be related to the lateness of the shindig. We may not be able to park and leave after the Studios is (are?) closed...

Not worth bugging the guys about it... Just thinking out loud. We'll sort it out. Or we won't. Or they will. Or they won't. What was I saying??? :crazy:

I have to imagine that if they have an ongoing event inside the park, they'd have to allow the parking lot to stay open, wouldn't you?
Although I wouldn't be surprised if the trams aren't running at that hour.

I believe BW parking is for BW guests only.

I have to imagine that if they have an ongoing event inside the park, they'd have to allow the parking lot to stay open, wouldn't you?

One would think, but there's no telling with Disney.

You will be able to park at DHS.

WDW is an old hand at private parties and such.

There will be no issue with having a vehicle and being able to exit the parking lot.

My mom and I are staying at the wilderness lodge and dont have a rental so if any of you can give us a ride that are going to the villas that would be cool!!!! but if we cant a taxi will be just fine:thumbsup2 its no biggie to us we are just soooo happy we got into the party:banana: :banana:

Since we are now confirmed for the event, I want to confirm my offer to provide transportation for someone else. DH & I are staying at SSR and will have a rental car. We can take 2 or 3 people anywhere on Disney Property, Hotel Plaza Blvd, or nearby. This is our arrival day so we may not make it until 12:30 am, but I expect at least until 11:30 or midnight!

If we are in desperate need for transportation, i'll have a car at the Dolphin and i'd be happy to help out those staying on-site needing a lift "home"...but you have to walk back to the Dolphin with me! :rotfl:

I would like to start a Walking-pool. We can all walk back together on tired feet. :lmao:

We are staying at BCV so we are walking no matter what.

Hi,

We have a rental car and are willing to give some folks a ride.
We are staying off-property but don't mind to make a detour around property to bring somebody back to their hotels.

We have at least room for 2-3 people but i think maybe 4 or 5 should also fit.
I will post here after nov 29 how many people for sure will fit in our car (at least a Midsize SUV).

For those of us that are relying on Dis transportation and in my case I am bringing my ECV because I cant stand for 3 hours straight I wonder what is going to happen. Will I have to take my ecv back to my resort and then come to the party or what is going to happen. Anyway see yall at Mousefest.

I would trust in Pete and the gang to arrange transportation for the masses. I think all we're really trying to do here is to reduce the burden by reducing the numbers of people that will need transportation.

I guess for the taxi people we should meet outside DHS and just 'pair up' ? We're also happy walking to BWI to spread the load :cool1: I can imagine two/three taxis coming at a time :eek:

Just thought I'd resurrect this thread...anyone who needs a ride back at the end of TSM Meet (I do plan on staying to the end) to any resort, but preferably the All Stars and AKL (because it's on my way), PM me. I'll have room for 4 people in my mid-size rental (upgraded from economy, so we don't have to be quite so friendly!).

We will have bus transportation for our guests at the party who are going back to a Disney resort (and yes for the few folks who are staying at a DTD area resort as well). Buses will run from 10:30PM until all guests staying at a resort are returned to their resorts. Depending on when you leave and how many people are waiting you may have to wait for a bus to return from dropping others off.

Since folks are going to all different resorts these will not run like 'regular' Disney buses - you will not have to wait for/get on a specific bus. We are paying for a Cast Member/transportation coordinator to be on hand to assist everyone to make sure they get back to their resorts after the event.

If you are walking to your resort there will be many folks traveling together so I'm sure you will feel comfortable/safe - however if you choose to take the bus back you are welcome to as well.
