AKL deluxe room

Going Dec 7-14!! :bounce: Booked a deluxe room, need one with queen and bunk beds, and I understand there is also a day bed in each room. 2 adults (sisters) and 2 kids - age 9 & 11. Not sure which "trail" we want yet - what are your suggestions for a room request? I thought I read that the deluxe rooms are upper floors. Is is better to be higher or lower??:confused:

The deluxe rooms are all on the top floors. We had one last year and we loved it. The view of the animals is fine as well as more expansive. We were lucky as we were assigned one of the deluxe rooms with a large balconey and domed hut roof.
