When I received my confirmation for our trip at the VWL, the confirmation read "lockoff" confirmed. What does this mean? UGH... <IMG SRC="/infopop/emoticons/icon_confused.gif" alt="confused"> all these new terms, I am soooo confused.

A lock-off can be either a Studio or 1BR unit which will have a connecting door to make the 2 together a 2BR villa.
There are some dedicated 2BR's at VWL, but most are of the "lock off" variety. The rooms are the same otherwise. Enjoy!

Some two bedrooms are dedicated. Some are "lock-off". Lock-off means that instead of being a two-bedroom it could also be either a studio or a one-bedroom. There is a connecting door that can be "locked-off" if it is being used this way. In a lock-off the 2nd bedroom will be set-up as a studio (which it is) and will have the wet bar and kitchenette. It also has it's own door to the outside. In a dedicated two bedroom there is only one entrance to the villa and the 2nd bedroom doesn't have the microwave, frig, etc.
