If so, does the Safari include airfare from the sates to Africa? And, if so, from which cities, etc. Any info appreciated!

Thanks,

Jon

The Safari and all other offerings in the Adventurer Collection, do NOT include transportation to or from the departure point of the Adventure, customs fees, accommodations before or after the itinerary, tips or gratuities, laundry or souveneirs.
You're on your own for the air costs to get to the Safari, but I'm sure the trip itself is spectacular! Most of the programs DO include maels, needed equipment, accomodations during the program and itinerary-based transportation.
Safari is 387 points for 13 days and 10 nights (1st and last night are not included).

Thanks, Doc. I was confused by the footnote #1 below the trip description that said that trip length did not include travel time (ie: 13 days, 10 nights) "except for the safari"... Thought the extra time (days) might have been flight time (last time I flew to Africa it was 8 hours from Mpls to Europe, then 13 more down to Joburg with a lovely 8 hour layover in between...still not quite as bad as the flight to Australia, however!)

Wow! Sounds like a lot of fun. We have always wanted to do the inside passage cruise too. :)

The eating lion were about 20 feet from us at times. They were pretty busy with the wildebeast, so didn't pay us much attention! I will admit it was more than a bit scary being out in the open like that with teeth that big nearby!
