Sand Ceremony

Hey there Brides and Brides to be!!!

I need your help. DH and I want to have a sand ceremony to represent the blending of all of my parents and the blending of his parents with us and our unitiy. CRAZY...I know! I am trying to find a ceremony kit where the middle vase has a lid. I have been searching high and low and haven't come up with anything yet. I just dont want it to get ruined during travel. I was hoping that someone on here would have one and could point me in the right direction!

You and Me both!! I think Vanessa had one with a Lid. And MegKate just posted one on her PJ with a lid. I can't find one yet that I like, or that I think will be big enought to hold 4 colors of sand and not look weird!

I would like a container that would hold enough sand to incorporate sand from us and our 3 children so I'm going follow this thread.

What I have seen before, is mention of some sort of wax that gets added after the sand to keep the sand in place but I do not have a clue where I read that :laughing: It may be on here.......or it may not :confused:

We need one that can hold 4 colors of sand and one that is clear glitter becuase we didnt want the rainbow effect of 5 different colors. I have seen the heart one on the stand with the lid but I am not its biggest fan!

I have been looking too. Dh and I did a candle ceremony at our wedding so we wanted something different now to incorporate our 2dds in the ceremony celebrating our family. I have looked but haven't found anything:goodvibes

Disney floral has a new sand ceremony container that apparently has a lid now. Before they didn't. I don't know what they look like but I am sure your florist could send you a picture. I am sure they have additional vases also.

That's a really cute idea! I wasn't too keen on either the sand or candle ceremonies, but this has got me thinking...
