My mom just booked a 2 Bedroom here for the last week in January (my folks are taking their first crack at being 'Snowbirds' this winter) and she has invited my DH, DS and myself to join them.

Anyone ever stay here? Heard of it? What do you think?

Any and all input would be GREATLY appreciated! This will be my first time staying offsite since 1976!!! But, for the price (free!!!) can't really complain, now, can I?

Thanks all

Debbie

We are booked there for June 1-8 . The RCI website is down temporarily but i think you can look at www.Sunterraresorts.com
and find it. It really seems like a huge nice place. I will report back when we get back if you don't hear from anyone else.
Surely someone has stayed there.

Rhonda,

I would REALLY be interested to hear what you think after you get back. You can post or email or PM me.

Thanks so much

The website is www.Sunterra.com. They have a place where you can take a virtual tour and view the

2 bedrooms, pools and lake. I hope this helps until we get more info.

Just took the virtual tour, it looks very nice.

Rhonda when you get back, can you tell me how far it is from WDW and Sea World? We will probably be focusing on the MK, AK, MGM and SeaWorld.

We will also be doing Sea World and MK as well as The space Center and Universal.

We bought our first timeshare at Polynesian Isles years ago, when they were still in the contruction phase. We love it there!

It's about a 10-15 minute drive into the parking area at the TTC and less for EPCOT, AK and MGM. SeaWorld is also about a 15 minute drive. It's right off of 192 and we've always found it very centrally located for everything we do there.

Please feel free to contact me if you have any specific questions. The only thing that we've found that hasn't been the optimum is that the washer/dryer for the unit is actually shared with the unit next door, in a locked utility room between the two front doors. We've never had a problem with it, though, in all the years we've stayed there.

Thanks so much for the bump and the good info. I am very excited to be going. It is nice to know we will be so close to the 'World'.

Thanks
