Poly fans: Any really great poly rates?

My husband and I are taking our 3rd trip to WDW together in July. We are staying at POFQ, which is the 1st place we stayed together (stayed at CBR for 9 nights last October and ASMu 1 night that trip). We Love POFQ, but went resort hopping and thought we'd love to stay at Poly sometime, but can't quite swing the over $200/night. Anyone ever gotten a really great rate at Poly? How'd you do it? We used a code to get POFQ for $104 TAX INCLUDED in July. Got CBR for $10 less than that when we went in Oct., but that was value season and we have AP's.

During last year's Fall Value Season Garden View rooms at the Polynesian were available for $179 (+tax) a night either by using a code or with an Annual Pass discount.

That's about as inexpensive as the Polynesian gets nowdays.

The lowest rate I have gotten this year is $220 per night GV. That included tax. I think the $179 last year was w/o tax. It came in nder $200. I don't think that it will be going lower than that. I stayed at the CBR a few weeks ago nd I did miss the monorail but itwas a tropical theme which I enjoyed and the beach was smilar to the Poly tey play the Carribbean music whick was nice. Nothing can beat the Poly wiht me but if I can afford it I can be happy at the CBR. The rooms aaare larger and better planned than the POR. JMO

We have the Poly LV concierge for June for 283.00 a night including tax. We got the discount because my husband works for an airline. It is an Airline/travel industry discount.
We had the same discount last yr but it was about 50. a night cheaper. Check out WWW.Mousesavers.com they have a lot of info on discounts.

DNSDisney - I'm sooooo jealous. For June we have GV for about $260 (incl. tax) and GV conceirge for about $360 (incl. tax). That's with AP discounts and CIF discount. It also includes 5 rounds of mini golf.

When are you going in June? Do you live anywhere near Green Co,PA? My husband grew up there. We will be at the Poly June 3-8. Can't wait. It is my favorite Disney resort.
Yes with the employer discount we get a great discount. Sort of makes up for flying standby all the time and getting bumped off the plane for paying customers...can't complain...they pay the bills;)

DNSDisney - Sorry, never heard of Green Co., PA, Bethlehem is near the border of NJ. We'll be at the Polynesian June 21-25. I can't wait. We've been dreaming of this forever and now we found a way to swing conceirge. Polynesian has always been our fav. resort also and we can't start any Disney vaca until we've entered the Polynesian just for a look around. It's the resort I used to stay in as a kid, so it brings back lots of great memories. We're also bringing our 12YO nephew who has never even been on a plane or stayed at any hotel, so we really want this to be a trip to remember for him. Have a great trip!!!

I currently have a Garden View reservation at the Polynesian this July for $199 using one of the codes. I have not seen anything lower than that this year. I sure wish I could get $179 again, though we did pay $199 July before last. $200 is just about our breaking point as well.
