Anyone order Jillian Michaels - Wii Fit DVD?

Mine should be in soon - The release got pushed up to today, but Amazon still shows it hasn't been shipped. Anyone else order one?

I'd love to share the journey of playing with it and seeing if it can kick my butt with a group?

I love the WiiFit, but I've gotten out of the routine of using it. Need to get my butt back in gear.

I picked it up at my local Gamestop last night. OMG - I programmed it for 1/2 hour on easy. Either "she" has a different idea of easy, or else I'm WAY more out of shape than I thought. I opted for the lose weight portion. In 1/2 hour program you do intervals of running (actually shifting weight back and forth and swinging your arms on your fit board if you have one) and exercise (a lot of squating, but it is made fun by having you jump logs, pick up paint grenades off floor and toss, etc.). It really kicked my butt. I love it! So much better than the wii fit games. The only thing I didn't like is that it doesn't have a cool down period after your time is up. Maybe I just haven't figured it out yet. Because it didn't have it, I threw in the Wii fit disc and did 15 minutes of the yoga. That seemed to work. I slept like a baby last night I was so tired. I think this is going to be a great. I can't imagine what 60 minutes on hard is going to be like, but I am definitely going to work my way up!

LOVETHATMOUSE, do you program in height and does it weigh and measure BMI like the Fit?

You put in your age, height and weight. It doesn't do BMI as I recall. I'll have to check it out when I do it tonite after work. It does have a graph though that charts your growth - or rather loss.

I preordered from Circuit City and the ship date for them is 10/28....w/ FedEx arrival is 11/3. So, I ran into toys r us & they had it on the shelf!! :cool1:

My thighs/legs are killing me from all the squats LOL! I just did yoga, the short run and some balance games on the fit tonite. I will hook up with Jillian tomorrow again.

Ok- I have an update from Amazon. Now I'm looking at 11/17-11/28 - Are you kidding me. Why can't they be upfront at the beginning. I had a gift certificate. I have to decide now whether to just wait - or pay for it out of pocket somewhere else.

Thanks for the reviews, guys. This is a game I've put on my Christmas list, since I got the Wii for my birthday. I've only lost a couple pounds so far, but I'm exercising far more now that I have the Wii Fit than I have in years! :cool1:

:rotfl2: I just went in to possibly cancel so I could buy some books for my new Kindle I'm getting (hopefully it was delivered today).

Now the Jillian Michaels game is in Stock and it says they are preparing for shipment - but it still says 11/17-11/28 as estimated shipping. It better be shipping today - :rotfl2: They were so lucky - I was going to cancel it!

Haha - i got an e-mail saying it was shipped this afternoon - strange huh. Yeserday I got an e-mail saying I had to approve the date change of Nov 17-28, and then today it was changed to can't change - preparing for shipping and then it was shipped lol. Very strange.

I did get the oprah deal - I couldn't pass up $50. I am so excited to get it. I have so many books i'm running out of places to put them. The thought of being able to take ALL of my books on the plane, on vacation etc. really really excites me. Now I gotta go back and rebuy all my favorite books - lol. But at least now I know that all books i buy in the future are going to be in one neat tiny place. I hope after spending that much I love it! lol!
