Rental Car Size - 2 Adults, 4 Kids

Have 4 small Kids (6,8,8,10), 2 adults arriving on Aug 30.
I read previous posts that no guarantee of 6 seatbelts with Full-Size rental.
Serious price jump from Full size => Minivan or Luxury.
Thinking National Rental Car, Emerald Aisle.
What are my chances of getting full size with a bench seat (3 seatbelts in front) or free upgrade to Minivan or Luxury?

Any other suggestions?

Hi, we also are a family of 6, kids 15,9,8,4, and we always get a premuim and it fits all of us < we will be there May 31 to pick up our car, But i had to go through priceline and got it alot cheaper for 11 days than renting it through the car rental sites. Have Fun!!

Full size cars come with 6 seatbelts unless you get one with a console between the two front seats. Some cars have a console you uncover and they have the 6 seat belts. Chances of being upgraded for free are very slim unless you are a preferred renter with the company.

Don't forget about your luggage, will it all fit in the trunck? Of course unles you get a full size minivan you're probably not any better off storage wise. I don't think I have ever seen a full size, bench front seat at EA. The reason I bring this up is one time years ago I reserved a compact, which passenger wise was big enough but it didn't have enough room for all our bags.

We have 2 adults and 4 kidsd and prevously have always had a full size wthout console...This last trip in march ALL the full size on the aisle had consoles....we ended up gettng lucky and getting a Suzuki SUV type that fit all 4 kids in the back and all the luggage...I will be careful the next tme I book so we get a car the entire famly fitts...

I'm at WDW now. I have a Buick Century from National, which is a full size I got off Emerald Aisle. It has a front split bench seat. There is a console in the center that flips back. There is a third seatbelt in the middle of the front seat.
