Tusker House Mealie Pap (Porridge) Recipe

Does anyone have a recipe for the porridge (Mealie Pap) that they serve at Tusker House breakfast? Me & a friend LOVED that stuff.

Me again! I was just looking for Meale Pap recipes online and it basically said it's just like polenta! If it had some distinct flavors, maybe you could play with that a bit? (Polenta is just corn meal, water and salt, with whatever you want to flavor it.)

It was similar...I have found a Deluxe Mealie Pap recipe online that sounded close. It had some whole kernal corn and I think it may have had hominy in it too. It looks pretty disgusting, but oh my gosh...we LOVED it!! I saw my friend at work yesterday, and she said she had been thinking of that stuff too...very much a good "comfort food"!
