Anyone had any experience with these. Our RV has a TV in a front cabinet, but there is always someone who complans of not being able to see no matter how we configure oursleves. I'm wondering if there is any kind of "transmitter" that would make it possible to view what is on one tv from another in the back of the rig or in the bunk? Please don't flame me for watching TV while camping...we do it rarely, but I have to have my SURVIVOR!;)

Its possible but I don't think that's what you are looking for.

How is the first TV hooked up to a signal?

If its just a normal cable jack, why don't you put a splitter on the cable and run a cable to the back of the rig. That way you could watch a different show on each TV. I'm certain that it would easier than running a cable in a house.

First let me say that i am not a gadget person so I don't know what to call what our RV has but I can describe it. My newer coach has a box above where the vcr/dvd/satellite box is located. This box is marked as tv1/ tv2/ tv3/ tv4. Under each tv there are buttons satellite/cable/dvd/antenna. So I just push the button for what I want to watch on any particular tv. If 2 tv's have the same button pushed then they are watching the same show. In our other coach that did not have this so my husband ran a 2nd satellite cable and box to the back tv so we could have 2 different shows on.

Our motorhome has a box that will send the signal to all the tv's, but it had to be wired for that to work. We also have a wireless transmitter (I think its a Jackrabbit) that we bought at Best Buy---years ago---for about $50.00 which works pretty good. Its been on a boat in rough conditions for about 5 years and it still works. We were able to hook it up and make it work and we're definitely technologically challenged. I'm sure by now the technology of the wireless transmitters is alot more advanced.
