I don't know if this is the forum to post this but I found in one of the newsletters this:

"Disney Rewards Visa Cardholders can get FREE Dining and in some cases, a room discount when you book a full price Walt Disney World vacation package for check-ins most nights 11/9/08-11/22/08, 12/14/08-12/20/08. FREE Dining has never been offered during this time period in the past, and never with a room discount, so this is a phenomenal offer! No expiration date has been published for this offer, as far as I know, but it could end at any time."

My DU rep had already found a disc code for my ressie after my cruise and I seem to have found another.:banana: :banana: In addition to the $400 she found, with this one I got another $200 plus free dining!!:cool1: It ended up saving 1/3 over the original price of my trip!!:yay:

That discount was released on September 18. Glad you found the info and got the discount. I'm surprised your DU Agent didn't get this discount for you the day it came out.

I'm not sure.:confused3 My TA took care of the arrangements:surfweb: :flower3: . Perhaps she took off the original discount and applied the room/free dining to my reservation. I'm not paid in full yet.

Hi to all.
I am very excited for I booked a 7 night stay at Caribbean Beach using the fall
Nov-Dec. discount. And today I just found the free dinning for Disney Visa holders code QXZ(there is also one if you want to use the deluxe,but don't now it) and they applied it to my reservation saving me even more money> Yeah! So I guess you can use moe than one discount.

You can only use ONE discount.

If you call with a better code the CM will apply it and it will override your old code. You saved more money because the second code was a better discount, not because the two codes were doubled up.

you can't use more than one discount code...the QXZ in some cases will get you free dining and a room discount (where free dining will generally always be rack rate for the room) but that does not mean you can combine different codes on one reservation. It's just that this particular discount can, in some cases, get you a discounted room in addition to free dining.

Hey didn't mean to get anyones ears in a bunch. I though the code was discounting the meal plan off of the package I had. the price difference seems to be the same. Just happy I could get a discount for when I was going

No. You can only get Free Dining by contacting your Travel Agent or by calling Disney on the phone.

no you can't book the Disney Visa free dining online. You need to call Disney or have a travel agent book for you

And needless to say, you must put your deposit down with your Disney Visa. YMMV as to pay the balance with another card. However if you are booking within the 45 days window, you would have to pay the full balance with the DVR.
