We have a couple of the Master Replica Disney statues and love the ones we have. We were looking to possible add a couple more. We recently had a chance to purchase the Mickey statue. When we looke at it we notices his gloves appear yellow. I will admit we may not go back as far as some other Disney fans but do not ever remember Mickey wearing yellow gloves. We decided not to buy it because to us it just was not Mickey but thought we'd ask here.

1. Has Mickey ever wore yellow gloves?

2. Was this just a defective statue? Does someone else own the statue with white gloves?

I have seen a few figures in antique shops plus I have some beanies in my collection of Mickey with yellow gloves. They are'nt bright yellow but a kind of light yellow / cream off white colour. I don't think it is defective though

You're pictures aren't showing ;)

I have a Disneyana book in my collection which I have had a thumb through and there are quite a few pics in there of old figures, clocks and pictures with yellow gloves

Thanks, I appreciate the effort of looking that up. I'm still surprised they didn't go with a more popular look. The matching Minnie is an older look as well but nothing stands out as odd like the yellow gloves. Thanks again.
