Hi Everyone,

We are driving from North Attleboro, MA to Lorton, VA and getting on the Auto Train for Disney. We are taking our 4 kids aged 13, 11, 8 and 5! I'm looking for ideas (games to buy etc) to keep them occupied for the 8 hr drive down and then the 16 hrs on the Auto Train. Any great ideas? We have a TV in the car for the drive down. I'm thinking some smaller travel games for the train. Is there room for the kid's to actually play some games, puzzles etc?? I've never done a train for more than 30 minutes so this is an adventure for us. Do we need to pack snacks for the kiddos on the train?? Thanks

Karen

Do a search on the tips board there are usually a couple of threads running on how to keep the kids busy

How much room the kids will have depends on how full the train is, and if there are empty seats for you to spread out. Families with children are supposed to be placed in the same car(s), so there will likely be other children for yours to play with. Snacks are available in the lounge car, but the selection is limited, so you might want to bring a few favorites.
