Some of the FP attractions are incomplete and this is off the top of my head so there may be even more-there are some major ones missing:
MK: also add Big Thunder Mountain Railroad
EPCOT: Soarin, Maelstrom, Mission Space
MGM: Toy Story Mania
Animal Kingdom: Expedition Everest

I will go back and double check. To go to DTD from AKL take a direct bus. There will be one headed to DTD. To go to the Poly from AKL go to MK by bus and get on the resort monorail. To go to the Beach Club go to EPCOT and take a bus. I find the best thing is to go to the nearest park and then take the bus to the hotel you need to reach.

Ok so Jenny has a Belle costume from Christmas. Problem is she doesn't want to wear it when we do BBB. She wants to be tinkerbell. So I went online in search of a tinkerbell costume for a more true size 6. I doubt she could fit the 4 to 6X. I am not having any luck. Anyone know anyone that wants to sell a tinkerbell costume or where I can get my hands on one? Thanks!

Target has Fairy costumes I think... normally Tinkerbell is there.

Also in terms of buses to other resorts. You might want to consider the quick bus to AK and then transfer to a resort bus there.

As for going to EPCOT and then a Bus to the Beach Club... I don't think that works. I think you would have to go through the park, there are not EPCOT buses to the Beach Club.

When we ate at the Beach Club we took a bus to HS and then took the boat to the Beach club. Just an idea... know that the front desk always can help you find ways to get where you want too!

You can't do anything with money. They stopped the stroller swaps too as of this Friday unless you make yours free. So luckily we have enough in ours to go ahead and do that. I doubt there will be anymore in the future. Someone said they are still allowed on some mikes website???

The Mods said they were closing them as this is a dIscussion Board and Swaps wee taking up a lot of space and that Exchanging/selling anything for money was never allowed !! So I guess we have to be creative in the future , mabe someone will find a way that doesn't involve posting on the Dis !!! This stuff is your MYW package. You should have received another Mickey Mail with the yellow luggage tags and Magical Express vouchers. Those usually arrive about 1-2 weeks before the MYW package. If you don't have them, make sure you call and let Disney know! You need the yellow tags for DME to pick up your luggage for you.

Just to add to what Brandi has already listed..............
Don't forget cell phone chargers or any other type charger for walkie talkies, batteries etc. I always bring hand sanitizer, baby wipes, a Tide pen, and neosporin. I also bring Tums, Pepto, and lots of zip lock bags, large and small, and a couple of 30 gallon trash bags. I look like I am moving in when we first arrive, but by the end of the trip I am glad I had all the stuff. Hope this helps.

OK, I jumped back a few pages and see that you are trying to check one bag and take one carry-on. Is that right? If you can manage that, then :worship:. I think that we will try to get everything in 2 suitcases and then we will have probably 3 carry-ons [(1) w/ extra outfits for all of us, camera, video cam; (2) w/ Evelyn's stuff; (3) diaper bag].

I must ask...where did you get the cute Minnie shirt that DD is going to wear to AK? I may need to find one this weekend!

Like I said, I have been back at following threads unless my friend sends me a link for them. Some of the things are the new hot air balloon rides in DTD and the new picnic lunch you can get at AK. If you haven't seen those and want links, let me know and I'll find them. Another random tidbit I picked up was that the pool at POP at least allows inflatable toys. I picked up cheap inflatable floating toys for both kids to ride in.

Also, if you haven't thought about it, we are making little info tags/badges for both kids. It will have a pic of them w/ their names on it and then underneath it has individual pics of DH and I w/ our cell phone numbers. I'm going to laminate them and put them in a badge holder. I already bought lanyards and DS is kind of excited about her "pink necklace."

pop up hamper ($1 store)
ponchos, just in case ($1 store)
pump hand soap (the bar soap always gets too gooey!)
rechargeable batteries and charger
camera battery chargers
wipes
diapers
pre-soaped sponges (these are great for washing bottles/sippies! I cut up a regular sponge in to quarters, squirt dish soap on them and set them out to dry overnight. When needed, just add water!)
clorox wipes (travel pack to wipe down our airplane seats & trays, GERMS:eek:!!!)
peppermint leg/foot lotion for rejuvinating my feet and legs over night

Wow your trip is sooo soon! My TA sent them to me priority mail. So hopefully those will come Monday. The stuff Disney sent never did come, but luckily the TA came through for us!

I heard snacks/drinks/etc. are fine to bring into the parks. You can even bring sandwiches. I read somewhere that you can't just bring plain deli meat though. I had actually asked one of the Disney CMs when I called w/ another question and he said that his wife always packs tons of food for the parks. I think if you bring it in a soft sided cooler, you're fine. We'll be bringing a small/medium sized one.

So Jenny and I went shopping and it was city wide garage sales. I was able to get a few things for the daycare! I also got a white skirt and flower top at Kohls to wear to dinner one night. Kohls had zip up swimsuit cove-ups...so I splurged. I think it only rang up at for $11.49. Maybe we live in the mosquito capital and they don't help camping. But I think that because of the number of mosquitoes! Nothing seems to help and we have tried it all!

We enjoyed Pecos Bills for dinner twice on our trip last year. They have the great fixings bar with chili, cheese, salsa, lettuce, etc... The chicken wrap was good, but HUGE! It could easily be shared! I've never eaten at Mara so I can't compare the two. I can't wait to try Earl of Sandwich and Goofy's next time!!

Poor Austin, and poor mommie :hug:. I had to basically FORCE Dallas' old pediatrician to refer us to an EENT so he could get tubes. He was always getting ear infections. His speech was delayed because of them, and when he finally did speak Amanda was the only one who could understand him :confused3. He was on antibiotics a couple of times we were at Disney. I will keep y'all in my prayers.

Now for the CS. As many times as we have been to Disney the only place on your list where we have eaten is Pecos Bills. We love it. I want to try Flame Tree and Earl of Sandwich though.

I am glad they gave him a good antibiotic. It will be such a relief for him after the tubes. When Dallas got his tubes they took his adenoids too. He only ended up with one set of tubes and his ear infection problem was taken care of. He had maybe 3 or 4 ear infections in the next 4 or 5 years instead of 4 or 5 a year.

Aww, poor Austin. My Sam used to get the ALL of the time, as she gets older it has been getting better. But ear infections are so terrible for little ones. Oh, I remember the nights. I hope he's feeling better soon.

Ear infections are horrible. This will be the first vacation we take where we don't have to bring antibiotics with us. Make sure you get some ear plugs to bring along on your trip! I know if he gets tubes he'll need them.

So I am home again...and most likely tomorrow. We see the surgeon tomorrow at 2. Part me of says lets get this over with and the other part says...this is the 1st time he has ever been sick. Jenny had tubes at 5 months though, so we are no stranger and tonsils and adenoids at 2. They told me Austins tonsils are as big as his sisters were. Great!

I took my temp and it was 102. By last night I had the stomach issues. I had to take Tylenol to sleep because my whole body just ached. Ugh! They are going to check Austin the day before we leave and give him a shot of Rocifin if needed. He has just been sleeping a lot! Poor buddy! The meds are so hard on his system. Although the probiotic seems to be helping. Jenny had RSV, but knock on more wood not Austin. Jenny caught everything! :confused: I am still keeping my fingers crossed Austin will get tubes before we leave. This will be the 1st time Jenny has flown without them, but at least now she can chew gum!

So I went online and ordered Jenny and Austin a Mickey Welcome basket from Disney Florist. Actually I called in so I could have it customized. I got them both Mickey ears with their names on them and autograph books. We have an 8:05 adr the 1st morning at Crystal Palace and I didn't want to be searching for an autograph book. Can't wait to see the look on Jennys face when it arrives to the room!

He told me to bring Afrin for Jenny and if the flight bugs her to let her squirt it up her nose once. Helps open the nasal passage and clear the ears...thought I would post that for anyone else who has troubles!

My boss is not being super nice. Ugh! I gave almost a months notice and now with every thing that is going on...I probably won't be back. They are trying to convince me to find some one to watch Austin Friday and Saturday. Yeah...lots of luck there, both our parents work and Jason is in the field when he is not working. Plus this weekend he is shingling. Don't they understand I didn't ask for this to happen? :scared1:

So we went to the next town over...10 minutes. They were having garage sale days and I always go to the same ladies! I got Jenny & Austin a few outfits, BUT...I got a bassinet, Ocean Wonder Bouncy Seat, Fish Price Horse, Jeep Umbrella Stroller (to bring to WDW for the days we don't want the dbl and the trip home) plus tons of toys. I was so excited! Now I just need to find an exacauser. It may be my 1 new purchase....unless my sil wants to part with hers. Well I need to go move some laundry.

So a late afternoon run to the ER for us? Yep, thats right. Austin woke up from his nap with a rash over his entire body, his behind was fire engine red and he was very uncomfortable. Ugh~ The verdict a strep rash. What now??? So we got Benadryl, Antibotic ointment for his bottom and we are continuing the meds. Can it be Wed. yet? My mom the nurse sent me home with mask to wear on the plane. She does not want us going. Ugh~~~

I am going to be the one by the pool at AKL with a little umbrella drink in my hand, a good book, and sunglasses. My husband is going to be the one in the pool with the kids. I need to RELAX:cool2:

Oh my goodness!! You do need to relax. And a hug :hug:. You need to have the waiter mixing you another drink as soon as each one is delivered :beach:!!! I would wear the masks on the plane. I am going to take some with me and if it looks like people are sniffing, snorting and sneezing at Disney out they will come.

I don't know what is going to happen. I just want to go in and clean out my desk and be done now. I am interested to see my final paycheck and see if I got my vacation pay. Its a GM Dealership. I have heard nightmares since I started about the boss. I have a hard time, though, since I am not from here I don't really know anyone that I am not related to or worked with in the past. I learned...I called and left a message saying I could come in tomorrow for about an hour while my niece watches the kids, but no one responded to me.

So I went to Sears which is an hour each way today to get Austins photos. Upon arrival they tell me or sorry those films did not turn out and we need to reshoot. Are you kidding me? A 2 hr trip for nothing and Austin is in sweats since I had no plans of having photos done. So we are now getting rescheduled and they will mail us this set of photos when they come in. Good grief!

I mad dashed through Target grabbing a container of clorox wipes, nite glo necklaces, spf 30 chapstick, waterproof ear plufs, shout wipes, downy wrinkle releaser, and a pair of I Love Mickey socks for Austin. I love the dollar bins there. I think that was everything I had forgotten.

Now my good news. I called AKL this morning and got the nicest CM I have ever talked to...He is going to get a high chair for our room and he said he would put is in a nice "quiet" location with a great view! Awe...1 week from tomorrow at this time and we will be landing in Sunny Florida.

I did decide to put the kids in their own carrys ons and ditch the idea of them sharing 1 big suitcase. But other than that....I spent most of the afternoon cleaning the Durango. Its a 4 hr drive to the airport and it was a mess. It look so pretty now! So tomorrow night I need to pack. :laundy:The basement is waiting untill we return from vacation!!!:laughing:

We have a 3 1/2 hr drive to the Minneapolis Airport and then just over a 3 hr flight. Its almost 25 hrs by car...Jason and I drove to the beach there in 2003. Ugh~Never again with kids. I wish I could have gotten non stop flights out of Des Moines, but at this time last year when I booked they weren't offering them. Des Moines is only 2 hours and its about a 2.5 hr flight.

So Jenny is spending the morning in the field with daddy. Austin is playing in bed and I am trying to sort through the items on my floor. Yikes! We have a 1st communion to go to at noon today, but then tonight its me and my suitcases, again! :dance3:

Well, Disney is a place of magic!!! pixiedust: I'm also glad ya'll decided on AKL, can't wait to hear you trip report about the resort. Danny & I were talking last night. We may actually go back next year (we usually plan for 5 yrs) and try to shoot for the "Free Dining" and stay at the AKL.

I know Jenny is so tall for her class. Too funny since she wasn't even on the charts for height or weight until she turned 1. She was 17 lbs on her 1st birthday, Austin weighed in at 21. He has always been chubbier, but shorter too. We leave early on the 16th. Our flight is at 1:25 so no parks. With the drive home we always try to land by 4 so we are getting home close to dark. I know...I was so sad to miss the huge Dis Meet.

You did and I concur. There is no way I would fly. Dale and I were talking yesterday about where we live and how we feel really blessed. Dale has flown once, when he lived in Dallas, and he hated it. I really want to go to Ireland, but I will have to take a ship I know in my heart I could not fly there.
When the economy started getting bad I started looking for nurses jobs in Ireland. Good pay, but the cost of living............:scared1:.

So the suitcases are packed...I still need to go over my list and see what items I am missing. I am staring at my camera, so I know it is not in there. Plus I have a feeling I didn't pack Austin any pjs. We are in 1 large suitcase and 2 carryons, plus Jenny's Backpack and my purse. It said 1 per person on Northwest plus your purse...so we should be good to go. We also have the dbl stroller, but they always have you push that up and then they take it. I feel like I have so much to do yet. I just went to the post office and stopped our mail. I realized Austin has his pre-op today and Jenny has an eye Dr. App. I am getting my hair higlighted tomorrow. Yeah! Surgery is on Wed. Austin has photo re-takes on Thursday. What a week...

I spent last night checking out dining reports and looking at food photos. I am thinking for CS....Flame Tree B-B-Que, Columbia Harbor House (I love the clam chowder at Disneyland), Tangerine Cafe (Jason wants lamb), Caseys Corner (I eat anything with cheese on it).

So we got home from the preop and what do we see in the mail, but 4 packages for Jenny. I can not believe they all arrived today. Great because of his age they said he will be first...so they told us to plan on 6 am tomorrow. The worst will be nothing after midnight. He is a milk drinker.

That is the hardest part about surgery. I know when Dallas had his tubes and his adenoids out it was really rough.

You can take both drinks and food on the plane. Just remember that you will need to purchase any drinks after you make it through security.:thumbsup2

The surgery is over...we were there 2 hours. Austin is sleeping now. We got drops to use for the next 5 days, plugs to keep the water out and an OK to fly. Yippie! I am so tired now, though! The nurses want to keep Austin...he is such a snuggler.

I am going to my exit interview at 10:30 today and then I will be officially done at work. I have another daycare interview today. They would make 3 so I would be full. Fingers crossed.

It looks like rain so I may have some help out around the house tonight and that means I can repack. I can not believe how fast this trip is coming!

Well Kmart was a let down as normal. I found these little sacks that I am going to try and clip to the sides of the stroller for sippy cups. Not sure how they will work, though. I got a bottle that has a fan on the end and you fill it with water. Jenny hates getting wet, though. Hmm! So I am going to go nap and hopefully when Jason gets home I can tackle the mess on my bed.

I did get Jennys id card made with all her informaton and our cells and a photo of Jason and I on the other side. I saw one like that once when I worked at Knotts Berry Farm and I was so thankful to know who we were looking for (parents). You won't believe the people that will show up and the lost and found. Yikes!

I am going to try and do a Disney Night Thursday and Friday night. I have been getting movie ideas and food from others threads. Think we will start with Mickey Mouse Pizza Thursday and Mickey Mouse Pancakes on Friday.

So I am done shopping. Bought my Camcorder today...Kodak Zi6. It was what I wanted. I got myself a new MM silver watch for Mothers Day. Also got batteries and Jason 2 new tshirts.

I need to pack. Jason should be home in the next hour and thats my goal for tonight. Tomorrow...bank and travel documents, load the vehicle. We are heading out Saturday morning at 7.

So the durango is loaded. I ended up with another carry on. I couldn't get the suitcase zipped when I went to put our hair/bathroom items. Thats ok...now we have swimsuits in our carry on. I think I have everything. I almost forgot to pack meds. What a nightmare that would have been. Plus a babseball cap for Jason and a belt. Hmm....men! Well I need to get the little miss to bed. This family needs to be on the road at 6 am. I will take tons of pictures, and write lots of notes and upload when we get home. I can hang out on the computer during nap time now! :laughing:

I also got Jennys ipod charged and the music added on. Our dvd player quit working unless its plugged in...so no movies on this trip. She will survive! Hopefully she won't belt out the words to her fave Hannah Montana during the entire flight or we may get some interesting looks. :confused:
