Hi everyone, we've just closed on VWL and our deed gets noted this Wednesday, so I guess we're one of the newer DVC members. I am so happy I could jump for joy! As I've been lurking for a few weeks now while deciding on DVC, sincere thanks to all who post on this board, you have given me invaluable information and answered dozens of questions. We have made our first reservation for November, 2001 in a 1-bedroom at VWL. If it's even half as beautiful as the pictures appear, I know we made the right choice. Many thanks again! Kathy

I haven't been inside a WL villa but I've walked around the grounds and peeked inside the Spike Room etc. - it's gorgeous! I'm very happy for you. :)

just another Welcome Home! like the previous posters have said, you won't regret buying into dvc, just that you didn't do it sooner. we've always enjoyed staying at the regular wl, so i'm sure we'll be spending part of our stays at the vwl.

Welcome Home!! Our family stayed at VWL in a 2bdr in Dec of 2000 and we loved it there. We loved the pool they have there and also the hot tub, we took the boat to MK in the morning and also ate at all the restaurants that WL has on site, the whole place is just wonderful and the 2bdr was out of this world!! welcome home you are gotta love it. Especially after a long day at the parks come home and take a whirlpool bath in your room. Really helps those sort muscles get better. I love it.

We stayed at WL the first week it opened and then went back this year. We didn't get to see the WLV due to construction but plan on checking them out in 3 weeks when we are down there. The WL is my DH's favorite resort.
