Isn't it great being a member of the UK Community ? I have been lucky enough to meet so many lovely people on here. I don't know if you remember, but a few weeks ago I asked if anyone had any Stitch Ears. We already had two lots of Stitch Ears, but as we are taking DD's best friend away with us on Boxing Day, the girls wanted a set for her too. A few people offered to lend me some, and Emma (thelittlemermaid83) offered to get me some when she went to DLP. Well they arrived today and I just wanted to say a big 'Thank You' to her for getting them for me

Not only that, but Rachel (jjk) picked up a few things for me when she was away too

So I want to say 'Thank You' to Emma, Rachel and all those who offered to lend me the Stitch Ears ~ you're all stars ::yes::

Thats really nice of you Emma and Rachel:thumbsup2
Glad you're happy Mandy:)

Youngest DD's WDW Tinkerbell light up globe spinner has stopped spinning today and she is most upset especially as her sister's Cinderella is still working  I was wondering if anybody would bring a new one back for me?

Perhaps it's an idea for a new thread, Mandy?

Joanne,
I don't mind getting one for you if there isn't anyone else going before us.

Mandy - I often think how nice it is to be a part of the UK Community, everyone is so supportive and helpful. :)

Emma, Gem & Claire,

Thanks for the offers:thumbsup2 I wouldn't ask but you know what three year olds are like:rolleyes:

I'll post a photo later and if Emma can't get one at DLRP then I guess Gem could try and if not I've got a second fall back with Claire;)
It's really very kind of you, believe it or not a family at school are going to WDW this weekend and I've helped them a lot with their ADR's and planning but I don't want to ask as she's a dizzy as anything but you gals are seasoned Disney pros :thumbsup2
I'd prefer to pay you in advance Emma.....
Thanks again for offering everybody:thumbsup2

-----------------------------

I agree that this is such a lovely community - I have never used any forums before but I know that there are not many (if any) as friendly as this one.

I am relatively new still compared to most of you but since the day I joined I have been on everyday (with the exception of holidays) and just love it, you are all so friendly and helpful and although I have yet to meet any of you (until December) I feel as though you are all my friends. :grouphug:

Sorry guys but I think you may be stuck with me! :goodvibes

I agree, it is the same with some of the folkes on the US boards as well. I mentioned in a random post once that I forgot to pick up a pin I wanted in Epcot and a US disser who was going to WDW the following week picked it up for me. Now she has asked if I can get her a keyring from DLRP as she collects Disney park keyrings which I will of course get for her in 10 days time. Some lovely California dissers also sent me Disneyland maps before my Disneyland trip as well.

If anyone would like anything getting from Disneyland Paris I'm going in 10 days time. I am also going for the start of Christmas and they are doing a santa thing this year where kids can drop letters off and santa will reply. I don't mind dropping any letters off for people.

I agree also. Kristie (kristieuk) was really helpful recently advising me about taking a baby to WDW, and not only that but she offered to lend me a special baby sling / restraint for using on the plane, which certainly made our journey easier. :goodvibes Thanks so much Kristie.

Couldn't agree more. I don't post that much but I'm on every day catching up on the threads :surfweb:

Everyone is so freindly and helpful. With regards to questions about disney it's like having a private travel guide -the tips are priceless.

The kind wishes and thoughts sent out to people who need them are really touching.

I think you get a feel good factor when you've been on the dis

Thanks guys!

I have to agree what a fab place this is.
I dont get on as much as i used to, new job, more pressure, you all know when life takes over, esp as we are not going back to WDW for a few years now (money and new puppies..)
however i think this places is very special, i had lots of positive comments and support when we were having problems and it does feel like a very large group of friends.
whats lovely is everyone has very different backgrounds, and therefore views of different things, there is the odd (polite) dispute which is only natural when lots of people get together. I never feel my opinion is less valid than anyone elses, and we all get on.
I love being part of the dis family, just wish i could be around more.

Emma, Claire and Gem....

This is the Tinkerbell lightup spinner thingy!

http://i205.photobucket.com/albums/bb14/poppyanna/DSC_0010.jpg

I remember buying it at EPCOT, but the same ones were available at all the night shows all over WDW.
Obviously the replacement doesn't have to be exactly the same.
Emma, if you think you can get one like it at DLRP and you don't mind taking up valuable suitcase space then that's great! If not, Claire or Gems are going to try WDW.
What do you think?
