Hi there...we are onboard too.

Cant wait, but still going to try to upgrade stateroom. (or at least a higher deck) I got #2571 after 32 minutes trying to get through via phone and a 2 hour and 19 minutes wait on hold...started at 5am on Wed the 14th.

Oh, this will be our 2nd cruise. 1st was the 2008 Mexican Riviera. Long time Disneyland passholders too.

My family and I will be sailing with y'all. We managed to snag a secret porthole room and are very excited. It will be me, Mike and I will be 20 by then, my parents and my aunt and uncle. This will be my first time across the Atlantic and I am so excited :cool1:.

Hey cruise mates ~ Sorry I have been out of town for a bit and dealing with some hectic stuff once I got back.

It's good to see that there are now three families traveling the Med come May 15th, 2010 ~ LOL.

I updated the top of the list with the info I had but if you want to give me your names I can fill that out as well.

Hopefully we will get more folks to join us. I am actually quite surprised at how many people have not signed up. Last time I checked prices they were the same as they were on release date. That may be a good sign for us because as we get closer they "may" lower the price and we all have to pay a little less. I have actually had that happen before on our last cruise in September of 2007.

Well I'm off to catch up on some Desperate Housewives. Take Care!!!

Not counting our 4 staterooms, where are the other 2,387 passangers?

We have a change of stateroom to 2611 (our last stateroom). this will probably change a few times though as people cancel rooms and we try to move to decks 5,6 or 7.

There are a few staterooms on 7, but I want something midship to aft. I sometimes get sea sick.

Still looking online and I call DCL every couple of weeks.

Sad News - we decided to cancel our 11-night Med cruise. My husband doesn't want to spend the money right now with the kids being so young and not able to enjoy the ports as much. I also think he's a bit unsure with the economy right now, etc. and wants to hold on to the money more. One of you guys may need to create a new thread and then have the moderators link to that new thread for the May 15th, 2010 date.

Sorry I won't be able to experience this great vacation with you guys. I was truly looking forward to it!!!

We were thinking about doing the same thing. Postponing the cruise for a bit.

We might have another ds or dd by then and it would be tought travelling so far with an infant.

Besides, the new ships will be out in 2011 and 2012 and it would be very exciting to cruise on a brand new larger ship!

We are still on this cruise! Currently it's me, DH, MiL, FiL, BiL, SiL, niece and nephew. But the in-laws are wanting to look at cheaper options and the BiL and SiL may decide not to take their two kids. So we are in a bit of flux.

I am almost positive we are going to postpone our cruise. We just found out that we have a d? on his or her way. It probably not be to fun traveling Europe with a 6 month old.

We have been waiting for this cruise for a very long time. I guess we will just wait another year any try to book on one of the new ships!

We just booked this cruise onboard when we were on the 7 night Western last week! We are so excited. We will also be there on May 19 which is my birthday and my dad's is May 13. I have been to France (10 years ago) but no one else in our group has been to Europe. Has anyone started looking at airfare yet?? We are just learning about the ports and can't wait to share info here on the DIS!

As the thread starter (Anjelica) who was keeping track of the cruisers has cancelled (and as such noone will be able to amend the cruisers list in post 1). i think we may need a new cruise meet thread (with this cross referenced to it and a mod notified to change the cruise meets list).

I'm happy to start the new thread and keep the meets/FE lists.

Any thoughts on changing to a new thread from the small number on this thread already booked on this cruise?

We (I) hadn't bothered posting as the thread seemed to have 'expired' with the original poster having to change plans... but it would be nice to have a Meet thread going for this trip!
