Sorry I wasn't here. I was trying to keep 3 8 year old girls out of 11 year old boys hair. I swear they just follow him around and it can drive him nuts. He is pretty good about it until they step into his room, then all bets are off. They are now at gymanstics so ds has us and the house to himself, at least for the next half hour anyway.

they took the car last night!!!!! and he handed over the keys. walking away from it! now i have to wait 30 days (as required by law) to see if he wants to pay up and take it back. then i can sell it. he has no intention of coming to get it back. when he can just walk away from a $500.00 payment.

Ha! It's actually really cute to watch the girls (dd and her best friend and her twin) trying to get his attention. First of all he has asperger's so most of the stuff flies over his head to begin with and second he's usually totally engrossed in whatever he is doing (loading a new operating system on an old DOS machine) to notice that they are scheeming against him:rotfl:

i just got off the phone with the dr's office and although i'm feeling a little bit better, (still coughing) they said it's up to the anastegeoligst ( ok spelling not my good point!!!!:lmao: )to decide whether or not i can have it done. so i'm going in at 12:30 for pretesting and to meet with them and they will decide yes or no. i really want to do it today, as i have made all my plans and have all my ducks in a row and this would just throw a big monkey wrench into the mix. i'm nervous about being away from my little man. i have never ever been away from him. he has never not sleeped at home or we have never been away without him. i cried when i put him on the bus (i know bad move- not winning mother of the year award i guess) but i just could not help it.
so long story short here, please keep my in your thoughts and prayers today as i need them all. my dh will call someone to let you guys know that i'm ok. so whomever he decides to call on my cell phone please post it for my friends to know. i'd appreciate it.

Good luck!!! Tell the anesthesiologist this is a go.. That we need to have this done now!!! Its understandable you cried.. it's hard... but keep positive.. this will be a great adventure for little man too... DH can come home or call and ask him to do something special for you... maybe make cards, hide something for you to find.. or have DH pick up little man something special for you to give him when you return from your "adventure"... Which ever one of us DH calls; we'll get it posted!!! Keep us posted!!! TXT when you have the answer to whether or not its a go..
