Welcome.
You will have a great time on your mother/ daughter trip.
I have gone to the World many times with family, but I took my daughter only on a trip this summer to DisneyLand for her 16th bday, it was awesome!!!
Have fun planning!!

Welcome. My mom and I have always wanted to do a mother and daughter trip. We can never seem to find the time to do it. For some reason my dad and husband always want to tag along. We're all Disney nuts. Kind of defeats the purpose but we all have fun together. Year before last my parents, DH and I all went to MNSSHP. But I think mother and daughter would be more fun.

Welcome! I take a mother daughter trip with my baby (9) every year (since she was 4). I make my 9 year old promise me every year that even if she decides someday that disney is not her thing (:scared1: :confused3 )she must still go with me anyway. ;)

Have a wonderful trip and make sure you get all the planning done here...there are thousands of disney experts on the DIS to help you!

We are also taking a 3 generation girls only trip! My mom, my daughter (7), and I are going 11/21-11/27. We went with our husbands in 2005 and have been planning the "girls only" trip since then. We are so excited! Can't believe it's finally almost here!:cool1:

We live in Alaska, so it's a very long trip to Disneyworld for us! April '09 will be our 2nd trip ever and my 8yr old daughter and I are leaving 4 days ahead of my husband so we can enjoy extra disney magic together (he likes disney, but can only handle 2 or 3 days--while my daughter and easily can spend weeks--all in a row!) We spent a few days alone in the parks on our first trip too, so we new it would be the best way to get our disney fill up and not wear out "daddy" on this one! We're counting the days and planning like crazy!

im here at wdw for my college program and I am trying to work it out so my mom can come and we can have a girls trip. She has never been before and I htink she would love it.

One thing that I really want to do with her is the grand floridian tea. I think it would be a great little memory and real relaxing!

My daughter (22) and I started taking mother/daughter trips when she turned 21, so we've just had 2. We stayed at POP in Aug., and had such a great time we are going again in Dec. I wish we would have started doing these trips earlier. but better late then never. They are so so much fun and a great bonding experience. Hope you all have as good a time as I did.:woohoo: :woohoo: :cheer2: :cheer2:

I'm planning a mother/daughter trip for june 09. Tried to talk my daughter into going with us, but she would have to cover some of the cost as I'm paying for my mom, so decided she couldn't do it right now. Nine nights and eight days for mother/daughter bonding....

I am sorry I have not posted in a while, But with me leaving in 22 hours for my very first solo trip to the "World" I have just been super busy.

My daughter (Kacie) and I have decided to go to New York and see Loin King on broadway, so that will make me think a little of Disney.

I will be booking this trip the first of the year.:woohoo:

I will be making more posts when I book and tell you all how the planning as they come available.

My DD will be 18 this month and we have been on several "Mom-Daughter" trips to the World since 2002. We always have a wonderful time together!

My DS got married last year and his wife loves Disney as much as we do, so we're looking forward to a girl's only trip!
