Just wondering how many other disser's might be there with me? I am booked at Cbr from August 24 - sept 2nd,. It will be me, my dw and ds, as well as my aunt and mom who are arriving on Aug 27th.

We are looking at the Pop or CBR. I am having a hard time deciding between the two. Not too long to wait. Hopefully time will go fast.

I wasn't gonna go. I really tried to stick to my guns. But all those Disney commericals....and then they sent me that darn pin through e-mail. I called today while on my lunch break and although she couldn't pick up the pin number through her system (she could see that I was sent one, though) she was able to find a code that was similar. So now i am booked for Aug. 23 - 31 YAHOOOOOOO :cheer2: :cheer2:

Yes, it's not that early posting thread for August. Counting days is not bad, it keeps your excitement in a high mode. 7 months is not that long to wait.

I forgot to say that we are staying at OKW. We deliberated for ages about which resort to stay in but went for OKW because we liked the sound of the 1 bedroom villa :)

Does anyone have any ideas or recommendations of things to do in the resort itself?

I am a newbie at this. I am planning my families 1st trip to Disney. I am considering staying off site for budgeting purposes. Last year I was booked but had to cancel. :sad2: I am debating on if I should take advantage of the Free Disney Dining this year if they have it again. If so, we will be going in late August, otherwise I may book for July. I have to get DH on board though. ;)

We're going Aug 26-Sept 5, staying at POP on the bounceback free dining that I booked last September. I'm SO excited!!

I'm really hoping they have MNSSHP early like they did last year so we can see it again. Can't book the trip any later because my oldest DD doesnt want to miss the start of Gr 10.

We're scheduled for August 29 - Sept. 5 at ASMu. However, I'm getting the urge to stay at CBR again, so if I can change it to CBR, I think that will be where we stay. If I need to change the dates in order to be able to take advantage of our free dining bounceback we booked under last year, then we'll be doing different dates.

Thank you! We're already planning to take afternoons off to enjoy the pool and some of the other activities the resort has to offer. The grown ups on the trip tend to get fussy and cranky in the heat too ;)

We'll be there in August as well. Staying at the BCV the 11-19th. Dates were determined by ultra cheap air deal. :) Will be DH, DD(6), myself, and my mother. DH and DD have never been and mom and I last went in 1987. I believe it's changed a bit. ;) We've spent the last several years doing cruises and caribbean beach style vacations, so this will be a change of pace - we're very much looking forward to it!

We really got lucky with our reservations this year. We will be staying at BLT (MK view - :woohoo: ) 8/13 - 8/19 and moving over to BCV 08/19 - 08/30. Can't wait!!!

We still have early August openings for our Fridge Swap at the POP. Check us out on the budget board under the Hop On Pop Fridge swap. August is going to be way to hot to go without a fridge, and if you're at a Value resort, you can get in on a swap so you don't have to pay the $10-$12 daily rental! Open slots right now in August from the 1st through the 15th.
