Wife and I are thinking of taking a family trip to either Disneyland or taking a DC. We've been to WDW and now we want to experience either Disneyland or a cruise.

For those of you that have done both, which one would you choose and why?

Right now it would be myself, wife, and 2 kids (2 & 3yrs).

Forgot to add:

Is there a good time for each? Right now we're thinking of maybe January.

Funny you should ask this! My kids and I were trying to figure out what to do next year. (DL or DCL) I was thinking of DCL because we could drive and not have to fly. On the other hand we would love to try DL and SanDiego. I'm not sure we would be able to handle the traffic and find our way around enough to visit DL though. So I'm all ears on this topic.

For us, we're looking at a 4-5 hr flight to DL. If I can't handle that long of a flight, I'm going to guess my 2 and 3 yr old will struggle as well... LOL.

Never been on any type of cruise so I have no idea what to expect there. I guess I just keep picturing myself getting seasick and on the side of the boat like in the cartoons. The DC are all inclusive though, right? Guess you're saving right there.

Ugh...

We have never been on a cruise. I worry about about sea sickness too. You are right about all inclusive except for excursions. The excursions could run pretty high for a family of four though.
I wish somone would just choose for me!!
