I wanted to have gift baskets ready for my two children waiting for them in the room. I have heard of The Perfect Gift but everytime I try to pull up their website I cannot go anywhere. Does anybody know of another good place to order the baskets!?!? I really wanted to do this! Thanks Mandi:smooth:

This is the link. I wouldn't use anyone else. She is the best.

I agree. Shirley's gang is the best. I ordered baskets for us and our friends with whom we sailed last year--they were awesome. She will have all sorts of great ideas and will track down nearly anything you want. Our kids are tigger and piglet fans and she found talking beanies of each. Lots of wonderful treats and a beautiful box with festive wrap and ribbons. Our friend is vegan and she came up with all sorts of fun stuff like nuts, salsa, chips, etc. as well as stuff for the rest of his family. She also does quiet-time baskets w/activities for children (coloring books, crayons, juice boxes and healthy snacks, etc) and romantic baskets (champagne, etc.) Have a lot of fun planning it all or feel completely confident about her ability to pull together something special. Sorry so long . . . I am a big fan! :D

what a cool idea!!!! what would you include in the baskets? My kids are 5 and 6. I figured they'd be in the club alot of the time, and didnt' really think about what they'll need in the cabins...

any ideas from you veterans will be much appreciated! I've been on two cruises, one with my sister and one with my husband, but never with little ones, so the needs are quite different!

Thanks

Go to Shirleys site and she has the "Large sand pail" filled with goodies, so u don't have to schlep sand toys with you. They were $30 each. I'll let you know when I get back. Read between the lines here, my DD reads these posts. The goodies will be nice to have in the room, you know kids, always starving and thirsty.

Also, Spoke with Shirley and she is such a nice woman and a pleasure to do business with.

In addition to the standard baskets, which you can see on the Perfect Gift website, Shirley also does great custom work. I have photos of her shop and a couple of custom baskets on my website at www.*****************
We've ordered a gift basket for a crew member, and I also got one for my hubby for our 10th anniversary...it was great!

Definately do the perfect gift. Since I am the worst procrastinator, I waited until the last possible moment to get something for my DD's. Called Shirley, got some cute sand snails filled with goodies, and didn't have to schlep sand toys around (until we came back that is!) She can definately do something spectacular for you!

I also ordered baskets from Shirley and would (will) do it again!

I ordered the sand pail dor DD7 and it was filled with snacks and juice boxes. For me and DH I ordered a basket with some grown up snacks and a bottle of Asti. Shirley was great to work with and she included a Donald Duck beanie for DH (his favorite).

Even if you get the website site to work you need to call them - they will have many other ideas to help customize you basket.

I am also having difficulty in accessing the site. I can get the opening screen, but the links "Enter Here" or "Planninng A Disney Cruise" are not working for me.

Even though Shirley has the web site..which some of you say is not working at the moment..

I would still call her and talk to her personally. As the others have said, she will customize for you. Just tell her what your kids' likes are, and she'll take it from there.

In 121 days, I get my own "perfect birthday gift" from Shirley. I will order it myself, as dh
doesn't have a clue!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!

I agree with natsmom125. Use Shirley's site only as a starting point to get ideas for the baskets. Shirley can and does customize each basket to the tastes of the recipient, so talk with her and she can help you design the perfect basket.

After several unsuccessful attempts with Netscape, I tried Internet Explorer. First, I got a message that I needed to download Vector Graphic software. I clicked OK to download; it went VERY fast. Now I'm in!
