Can't believe it - AKL for $129 a nite! Our DS is getting married in August so I thought oh well, can't go this year anyway, and got up to throw it in the garbage. DH told me "don't throw it away, you never know...."
Maybe, just maybe........ (I'm too excited!!!):Pinkbounc

I got the same postcard and I've been trying to see if I can squeeze in a trip - afterall, its not everyday you can stay at the Animal Kingdom Lodge for $129! We're going in December though, so when the fall discounts come out, I'll be checking to see what's the rate!

That is a great rate! Who knows hang on to it for a while!!! My DS recently gave his girlfriend an engagement ring, but they are waiting until summer, 2003. My DD got married seven years ago and weddings are so time consuming! People just don't know what all has to be done until they do one do they? Anyway hope you get to go to AKL too!!!

Thanks Boots
DS and future DIL have been together for 4 years, so unfortunately I won't even let a trip to WDW interfere with this wedding! (LOL):D

Funny your talking about weddings! Daughters wedding was last night..BIG Italian wedding 500 guest.!! everything fancy, and I set up and paid for a honeymoon at the Beach club for 2 weeks..Not to mention showers etc... So that leaves me BROKE and sad! NO DISNEY for ME!! (but Happy for my daughter) But my hubby said we've got 5 months to save money to go back this Sept.. We have annual passes and that's why we wanted to go before they expire... So with fingers crossed, I'm hoping and praying all will go fine. I told him I would even be willing to stay at the Value Resorts.. I just am selfish I guess, or second thought, I'm just addicted to WDW. Boy I am sick!!! or what??

We also received this offer in today's mail. Three nights at AKL for $129.00 (plus tax) plus a fourth night free if you book by June 30, 2002.
Be sure to read the eligibility requirements closely, as you will be required to attend a 90-minute sales presentation for DVC. If married, you and your spouse are required to attend together. If you do not attend the presentation, you will be charged up to $239.00, plus tax per night. Hope it works out for you!

My postcard offering $129/night didn't mention anything about a sales presentation. It did say to mention code CEJ, though. Maybe ther's more then one postcard out there right now?????
