I called member services today and the cast member confirmed that the dates this December are 12/4, 12/11, 12/18, and 12/27. Wahoo! We'll be there 12/27.

Rats I forgot to ask the time. As I recall from years past it was in the early afternoon. Anyone else know?

Typically 3:00 to 5:00 PM.

Might not want to start re-arranging schedules yet.

I was given a different set of dates by a DVC executive. The dates that were provided to me are:

Friday, December 5, 2008
Friday, December 12, 2008
Friday, December 19, 2008
Friday, December 26, 2008

Time and location are the same as prior years--3 to 5pm outside the International Gateway.

I just read that also- bummed about it because I travel on Fridays- I've always counted on Thursday, darn it! Ah well!

Yay!! Thank you sooo much for posting this - I almost called to check. I'm hoping it will be fun, we'll be there Christmas week, so I want to go!

OK, so 26th or 27th, depending on who you believe?

Funny - I had it in my plans for 12/27 then realized it was normally on Thursdays (not sure where I got 12/27 to start with), and have been waiting to see if they offered it on Christmas or not. I've been checking the DVC site every few days to see if they posted.

Now, the question is -- do the 26th or 27th still fit in my revised plans? Hope so!

We're actually doing a shorter trip this Christmas, because my boss is looking at me funny.

We've done at least 1 week, and usually 10 -15 nights since 2000. However, more of my immediate co-workers are starting to whine (I wish I could offer them some cheese) about my 'preferential' treatment; so we're coming in on Christmas Eve and leaving the following Sunday.

We won't even be able to see the New Year's celebration- which we've done every year since we started our holiday tradition.

But we will be there for at least one Merry Member Mixer, and this time we'll actually be there! Either the 26th or the 27th- whichever way the event flips.

We'll be there either the 26th or 27th. Either one works for us. I think the 26th would be even better as we fly in that day and aren't planning to go to the park that day anyway.

Sounds like quite a few of us will be there for the 26/27

Sure would like to see them kept on Thursdays. I have waaaay to much to do on Friday, the 12th. I love the Merry Mixers but I've aleady committed to a bunch of MouseFest stuff on Friday. Disney is really messing with my MF scedule on several fronts already!!

Count me in as another Mousefester who wishes DVC would release the Merry Mixer dates officially. I'm trying to juggle all my plans, but I would love to make it to the Merry Mixer.

Hope it's not the 12th. We leave that morning. We were looking forward to going on the 11th. This will be our first trip as members.

We will be there on the 11th or the 12th, whichever. If it is the 12th, this gives more time at it since our Candlelight Processional Package is on Thursday at 3:40. I was thinking of re-booking it.

You may have a hard time trying to rebook your CP package. Those fill up very fast.

We're coming in on the 12th and are also planning several Mousefest meets. We are staying until the 20th, but I would hate to have to try to add that in on our last day! They really need to post the real dates and quickly!

I was just thinking about this topic yesterday. We went to the Merry Member Mixer in 2006. We enjoyed it and liked being able to buy DVC items. Specifically, we bought a coffee mug that was great.

Free cookies are always a good thing too.

We fly in December 27 so we are hoping it is that Saturday.
