As a DVC member do we get to tour the Animal Kingdom Lodge or do we have to have PS arrangements also? Also, do you think the breakfast buffet would be tradional breakfast fare? I know the restaurant (Boma) has an African theme .....do you think the food will too??

From things I've been reading on the boards, all access to Animal Kingdom Lodge is being limited initially to those with room reservations and meal reservations. I believe that it won't matter if your a DVC member...no tours unless you fall in one of the above 2 categories.

Lew - I enjoyed reading the web site! Thanks for posting it.

Dream it and you're there!

AP holders are being offered a "sneak peak" or "preview" of AKL (I forget how they worded it in the Mickey Monitor) the weekend of 3/30 - 4/1. It didn't give any detail as to what, if anything, will be offered such as guided tours of the resort and/or rooms, refreshments, giveaways, etc. I called Disney Dining to see if I could make PS for one of the AKL restaurants (we'll be at BWV 3/30 - 4/7) and was told that none were being given before the official resort opening date of 4/16. However, they indicated that there may be some free samples of food from the restaurants.
