I'm going to be getting a new camera in the next couple of weeks, and after doing some research and reading good reviews have decided on getting a Panasonic Lumix.

I am thinking of getting the DMC-TZ4 or TZ5, but have also seen some good reviews for a couple of point and shoot FX models.

Can anyone tell me the differences between the TZ and FX? I was going to call a couple camera places tomorrow and ask, but figured it can't hurt to ask here as well. :)

Thanks!

I will give it a try. The FX series are smaller and have 3x or 4x lens. The TZ series is a little bigger and has a 10x lens. Both have very nice image stabilization.
