I'm planning to use polymer clay to craft some small mickey head ornaments for my small tree. I may try to do some mickey head outlines in shrink plastic. I'll post pictures of what I do. It will be a few weeks though!
Waiting to see what other DISer's say! popcorn::

Just a couple of weeks ago, I was on here looking through all of your wonderful creations and I saw a picture of the clear glass ball ornaments and one of you smart Diser's had rolled very pretty scrapbook paper and inserted it into the glass balls....... I can't find those pics now to save my life.
:confused3
Can someone help me, please?
Thanks so much - and keep those ideas coming!!!!!

Can you get Crayola Model Magic over there? One year DD & I got a bag of white & made snowmen for another project she was doing. I took some of it & made "Mickey" snowmen & added an eye-screw to the head, creating an ornament. This is the only photo I have & it's terrible...sorry. The ornaments are still in the basement this year. ;)

I also have made tin punch ornaments with the kids. Just take a lid from frozen lemonade or orange juice concentrate (that has no printing on it) & lay it on a block of wood. Tape your pattern onto the lid securely. You don't want it to slip or the outline won't look right. Use a hammer to tap a nail through the lid. I got the trims in the notions department & used hot glue to secure them...including a loop of gold twine/string on the back to use to hang them.

Thanks, Dyan. But better yet, they were free! LOL DH was using a can of lemonade in his gallon of iced tea & he was drinking it year-round. And I made quite a few before I actually had to go buy notions as I had them from various other projects over the years. ;)
