We are going to be taking the Disney Wonder cruise in July and it's part of our daughter's birthday present. Has anyone done a birthday on board? What did you do? What did it cost? I'd love any details you have to offer. :)

We'll be celebrating our son's birthday on 1 June cruise, our TA made the suggestion and set it up. Will let you know more after we cruise! There was no cost involved, and I understand he'll get a pin, singing at dinner and who knows what else. I would ask your TA to arrange.

We celebrated DS's birthday during our April 2000 cruise. The servers gathered around the table to sing 'Happy Birthday' and we got a fantastic chocolate cake that we took back to the stateroom and kept in the fridge to snack on late at night. We saw several 'Happy Birthday' celebrations in every dining room during both our DCL cruises - except for Palo's.

The cake, pin, and singing are very festive. Just be sure to tell your head server about the special occasion, even if you have told your TA when they made the reservation.
Also, you might want to consider ordering something from Magical Treasures or from The Perfect Gift (I have photos of their neat baskets on my website). I ordered an anniversary basket for my husband when we celebrated our 10th in Feb., and it was really neat. He loved it! It would be a great way to celebrate a birthday too...Perfect Gift will customize it for the recipient.

We celebrated our anniversary on board, and got a lovely cake, and a bunch of servers came and sang at our table. We also saw a WHOLE BUNCH of happy birthdays at each of the restaurants. We were always joking that every table had a celebration song.

We will be taking our first cruise on Sept. 28th. My DH birthday is 9/21, DS birthday is 9/22, and DD is 9/30. I'm hoping there will be one night that we can toast/celebrate everyone. Also have my sister's family sailing with us, and BIL has a birthday 9/25. CAN'T WAIT!!!!

just got back from 4/27 and we had a birthday for my son and since my other sons birthday is in june the head server came with 2 cakes and everyone sang and they both got birthday pins very nice touch
We're cruising on 11/2. DS's birthday is 10/25 and DD's 11/18. Can we celebrate their birthdays one night, even though they are not the same week of the cruise? It would be nice.
We celebrated our daughter's 12th birthday on board. At dinner we had the cake, the singing and the pin. It was wonderful. I also knew one of the crew so in the morning she had some Balloons and a treat bag delivered to our state room. She also got a signed picture of Mickey and Gang as well.

We're cruising Nov 30-Dec 7. Should we celebrate my birthday which is Nov 13th? Or do people only celebrate on their actual birthdate?
