Hmmm...I agree with this one. Lion King was sad too. Boys Don't Cry made this list though, and I didn't think that was a tear jerker at all. Sad yes, tear jerker, no.

How does any tear jerker list not include Sophie's Choice or The Champ? :confused3

yeah, how is Brian's Song not on there... the classic that makes guys well up.
These lists are just, and this will go over most American's heads here, just made to keep Jimmy Carr on the television*
*Jimmy Carr is a (IMO very funny) comedian who frequently hosts "The 100 greatest ____________" shows on television - and when i say frequently i mean FREQUENTLY!!!

Haha, yeah I think some of the ones you guys listed above made me cry more than some on the list. The Disney movie that got me as a kid was The Fox and the Hound- I was traumatized and I don't think I have seen it since. I still can't listen to that song "When you're the Best of Friends"...I think I have to sign off now...my uh allergies are making my eyes well up ;)

I think the new movie Marley & Me will be on that list next year. I've read the book and I barely got through the ending. I was so emotionally drained afterward, that I had to take a nap.

This may be cheesy, but when I saw "A Walk to Remember" in the theaters, I out-and-out sobbed for the entire last half of the movie. I mean like an embarrassing amount of crying.

That is an odd list. Steel Magnolia's is up high on my list.

I agree! The original Brian's Song - 1971 - James Cann and Billy Dee Williams.
" I am Third"
"I love Brian Piccolo, and when you hit your knees tonight, ask God to love him too."
Gayle Sayers and Brian Piccole -true friendship
Love Story - 1970 - Ali Mac Graw and Ryan O'Neal
"Hands of Time"
"Love means never having to say your sorry"
Jenny and Oliver- A true love that teaches Oliver to love his family.
I know, Oldies but goodies!
